There are some players to be taken out starting now so that our vote won’t be wrecked once again in ‘16.

Detractors sure are agitated here tonight for some reason. Wonder what they've been told, other than to subtlely trash SP on FR...once more. This may be their idea of subtle.

Why is the scent of Romney and Perry operatives lingering here on FR tonight more than that of the typical lib interlopers?

Will keep alert for what you suggest may be about to start, txhurl. Thanks. R2z

I sure do, you saw what they did to Herman Caine. The pulled an Axlerod/Allred smear on him.

First, Herman Cain was never a serious candidate, he was running a book tour financed by suckers who contributed to his presidential campaign.

Second, he was brought down by an attention seeking bottom feeder looking for media attention by the name of Gloria Allred. And that would not have been possible if Cain hadn't had a Mistress or more on the side. If Herman had done nothing wrong he wouldn't have withdrawn - in fact, if Cain had done nothing wrong the accusations would have strengthened him and allowed for the sale of more books.

....”If Palin’s plan in not to run, but to distract the lib MSM as we approach 2016, that might be of some value”...

Sorry but I won’t play her guessing games for any reason. And how do we know if it’s not the media playing her hand for her? They know she can give them passable ratings when there’s nothing else on the front burner.

She’ll will have to play her hand, if she has one, and we’ll see. It’s still early and there’s a ways to go...and early on they all play to distract....

I've got to agree. This whole Palin thing is like chasing shadows.

That said, I know that means she, and the GOP Candidate will lose in 2016.

But the Dim that comes out of that caldron can't be any worse that what we have now and is more likely to be like the last 4 years of Bill Clinton.

This is some of the dumbest analysis I've seen anytime recently.

How on earth do you divine that the Democrat that comes out of Republicans/conservatives splitting their vote between 2 tickets would result in a liberal more like Bill Clinton? If anything, a divided right/center-right would allow an even more leftist Democrat candidate to win the Presidency - because the Democrats sure as heck won't be so stupid as to split their vote which will allow them to elect someone even worse than Obama.

""This is some of the dumbest analysis I've seen anytime recently. "

I ask you to reconsider the "dumb" word as I am far from that.

Perhaps you're one who would give the GOP a break for their Treason?

Not me.

I think you sometimes gotta lose some to win some.

The Commie/Dim alliance is dead.

Elizabeth Warren as a spoken word, is dead.

A Sarah/Ted or Ted/Sarah alliance would cause a political earthquake.

I would cut my work schedule in half and spend the balance of my waking hours doing everything in my power to elect that ticket.

Is Palin going to string her supporters along all throughout 2015?

Tell the truth. You wouldn't have voted for her if she had run, would you?

At the risk of being beaten up for saying this ....I have a theory that Sarah was still seriously thinking about running until Michelle Bachmann entered the race.

Dont get me wrong, Sarah was NOT afraid of Michelle Bachmann, MB was not a serious person/candidate as far as I am concerned, but she muddied the waters.

The Palin hating MSM embraced MB only out of their hatred for Sarah, yes they embraced MB at the beginning, from the Lesbian on MSNBC to THE NY Times,CNN etc

I believe the Republican Establishment was thrilled to have MB in the race for the very same reasons, they knew that MB was not a serious person, it was Sarah they all feared.

The drum beat began, Sarah cant run now, they all said.

I was very disappointed when MB announced, I knew it was not a good sign after that.

“A Sarah/Ted or Ted/Sarah alliance would cause a political earthquake.”

Definitely agree. A lot of democrats and maybe a few republicans would stain their underwear.

Too much drama happening making her look like just another reality Tv show.

Don't buy the media spin on events in her life. The MSM would feast on her very flesh if they could. They hate her that much.

...”This whole Palin thing is like chasing shadows”...

Well that may be the plan but it’s been played before as we know. Regardless I can’t waste time on mights and maybe’s and won’t. I’m past the political funnies politicians seem to want too play....this election is far too serious to ‘enjoy’....if I want ‘political entertainment’ Saturday night live is a popular hang out for them to entertain us!

........I actually tested a boat I just bought on a lake in Wasilla 3 months back. We were in a hurry and I had no time to determine “Where” Sarah’s house was.

If I had, I sure as heck would have done a drive by (in the boat) at a minimum and autograph and picture at a maximum!

The whole thing with Bachman was weird. She was polling something like a measly 2% for a few weeks after entering. Then, all of the sudden, one weekend, the FoxNews talking-heads all started talking her up. Rove and the unlikely middle-of-the-road types, not the usual people you’d think would be Bachman supporters. But they kept saying things like “whoa, keep an eye on Bachman; she’s really coming on strong; she’s like a smart Palin,” etc.” It was very odd. And indeed, with all the talk and hubbub, Bachman’s poll numbers did start rising to 8 and 10% or so.

I’m not knocking Bachman herself, but the whole situation seemed like a contrived feint, on the part of the beltway-GOP crowd. Anyway, I actually think it was Rick Perry’s entrance that really took the air out of a potential Palin run. There was a vacuum that he jumped in and filled for a good number of weeks, until he faltered in the debates. The whole race devolved into such an idiotic circus, anyway. I think it was wise for Palin to keep her powder dry, as it was. The Dems, the media, the GOP-E had all worked together against her all year long, and it was obvious had she even run and won the primary, the GOP leadership would not have supported her.

For anybody that was wanting Sarah to run (As I did) it was a bad day when MB announced, and NO, Sarah was not afraid of anybody.

I was here, there was no Palin supporter at FR that thought this was good for Sarah.

MB was NOT a serious person and she hurt the cause.

Windflier, ...I respect your comments greatly but Sarah’s family and Sarah herself now seem to encourage the media’s participation in their affairs by feeding into them...and not favorably. They’re sounding like the Boo Boo crowd just with a lot more polish..but the dynamics are similar...like a bad tasting soap opera.

Sarah and her family make themselves easy targets and just seems to be ‘part of’ the media’s ‘entertainment’ for the masses.

It doesn’t matter to me how the media spins their life...it matters that they give them the ammunition to do so and then feed into it. This does Sarah no good but she doesn’t seem to have much handle on her family’s understanding how this hurts her. Someone needs to muzzle her daughter...for sure. But I don’t see that happening.

The fact they’re all making money off their stories, and feeding them, doesn’t sit well with me at all. Why not respond with political points instead of always attempting to defend themselves and give the fan clubs their daily dose of entertainment? But then fan clubs do stay attached when drama is in play...good or bad.

I pretty much ignore the details and she said he said antics....it’s the idea that once again the drama unfolds one way or another. And aside from the father they all seem to play into it.
