Given the historical truth that the DNC can beat with the cheat anything under 4% they will hold the Senate with 50 seats.

republicans win 51 to 49, but the media talks McConnell into conceding that this is not enough to assume leadership so they offer up a co-leadership proposal but Reid says not, so they just cave in and let the democrats continue their control of the senate.

51D, 49R. A few of the races will be agonizingly close, but the dems’ fraud machinery will see them through.

GOP 54. Compromise and powersharing follow until 16 when the dems retake due to GOP abandoning the base.

I’ll go with that too. GOPe takes the Senate, comfortably (meaning 53 or more seats in GOP hands).

At the risk of being labeled a “hope troll”, I think the GOP will win big in the Senate races. A scenario of 7 pickups is very likely - Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Georgia, Iowa, Kentucky, and Louisiana).

If the things break our way, we may see 10 pickups - Brown has a real shot in NH, Hagan’s re-election in NC isn’t a done deal just yet, and I honestly believe Roberts will eke out a squeaker in Kansas.

Even if none of the latter three come true, that still leaves a net pickup of 6, if my math is correct.

The fly in the ointment, as always, will be recounts. If there’s a whisker thin margin of victory, we’ll see the lawyers and the partisan hacks crawl out of the woodwork.

50 GOP, 48 Dem/”Ind”, two seats go to runoff. If the runoffs are not both won by the GOP, the Dems will pull a Jeffords with someone like Collins and form a 50-50 “majority” with Biden providing the tiebreakers.

And when that happens the Republican ceases to be a national party; it becomes a rump party with 30 senate seats or so
and never regains the White House.

WaPo gives it 97% chance the GOP will control the Senate
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dre/politics/election-lab-2014

Larry Sabato puts it at 53-47 (with NC/NH=dem, CO/KS=GOP)
http://www.centerforpolitics.org/crystalball/articles/the-crystal-balls-final-2014-picks/

Larry Sabato gives the CT gov race to the dem (Malloy), thinking that latest Q-poll includes Visconti dropping out - it doesn’t. No self-respecting Visconti supporter will vote for Malloy. I give this one to the GOP

I look at how the GOPe abandoned my hero Barry Goldwater in 1964, Nixon in 1964, and opposed Reagan in 1976 and 1980.

I cannot believe the GOPe elite supports unrestricted immigration and amnesty.

An Error Has Occurred!
Either that poll doesn’t exist, the poll has been locked, or you tried to vote twice.

“51D, 49R. A few of the races will be agonizingly close, but the dems’ fraud machinery will see them through.”

BINGO!

And it will be all smiles and backslapping at the MSM proclaiming that “America has now given approval to Oa-hole’s agenda and the Republicans better get with the program!!!!”
