[Soaring Feather]

My Dragonfly And Me


If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!


By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone


On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and me...


And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...


Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Hello Tomkow! Thanks for stopping around...how are things....are you HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY?

I fell like an old, over used dragon with very bad knees.

I ache everywhere. The lousy weather does not help, it is cold and rainy.

a shiny slate
upon which to say
our dreams of hope
we get to make
God in heaven
let us bow
praising in faith
our humble state
seeking to honor
God so great...
Love is the way
wonderful day
come what may ...

Good morning all!

Snow covering the ground this morning, temp is 33F — not very encouraging this late in April. However, we carry on with hope for warming temps.

early morning walking
brings a smile to the face,
noticing anew the wonders
all about in every space.
thirty minutes spent briskly
keeping all parts moving well
does more to heal the worries
as the world situations tell
of each and every day,
God is with me where ever I may go
a time we spend together,
refreshing to my soul
for the day, in every way ...

and can and will slap down a child of his
