The “casting couch” has been part of the entertainment business throughout its history. Directors, producers, agents, star actors and actresses use their positions of power to prey sexually on the young people who flock to Hollywood, New York, and other centers of the industry seeking fame and fortune. Likely most of the powerful men and women who rule the industry today were exploited at the beginning of their careers. Even if they were not victims or participants, they are all collaborators or enablers because they remain silent and consciously do business with the exploiters.

Most of the power brokers in the entertainment industry are also secular leftists. They are devoid of morals and virtue, yet perceive themselves as morally superior. They worship at the altars of wealth and power and use their wealth and power to make or ruin the people around them. They maintain an alliance with the political power brokers of the left who also use wealth and power for personal gratification and the exploitation or destruction of individuals.

If the allegations are true, Cosby is a sick, depraved and evil person. The outing of Cosby completely destroys his status and power at an advanced age which only serves to tarnish his legacy. It does nothing to change the system.

The female victims of Cosby were likely as afraid, or more, of the power brokers allied with Cosby as they were with Cosby himself. After all, had they come forward at the time of the crime, it was the power brokers who would have declined to give them roles or jobs, not Cosby. They stayed silent to protect their jobs and positions in an exploitive industry whose leaders hypocritically clothe themselves in the cloak of moral superiority.

The outing of Cosby could only occur with the approval of powerful individuals who enabled the depravity and exploitation for decades. The destruction of Cosby is an exercise of power by the power brokers, not a sign that the industry will reform itself. The question is who decided to destroy Cosby and for what purpose? Did Cosby cross someone powerful or is Cosby’s destruction an exercise of power meant to be a warning to others?

Tonight the casting couch is in operation. Cosby may not be on it, but likely those who gave permission for his downfall are enjoying its pleasures whether or not the other participant are sharing in the joy.

Complainants NEVER lie?

That’s why there are false report and perjury statutes.

Cosby is being cancelled right and left, his new TV series, his TV special, his stand up engagements, even his old reruns.

One reason this story got legs this time is that Cosby was exploding with a whole new career push, and he made a strategic mistake in one of his social media campaigns.

I’m thinking that the accusers are operatives of the New Black Panthers or the Nation of Islam or certain left wing Democrat-friendly types whose job it is to deal with people like Cosby who don’t play the game the way they’re expected to. But now Bill Cosby, being Bill Cosby, is saying “Is that all you’ve got?”.

Cosby is a racist leftist. Always has been. One little truthtelling mission does not change political stripes.

I think Cosby needs to go to Ferguson and join the mob, sounds like he got SHOT, with his hands raised... and his image died... He can march and be a banner bearer.

How about the one freak, Brian Singer who directed all the X-men movies? Regularly engaged in homosexual child sex. It’s unbelievable how perverse Hollywood is and they have the gall to dictate morals and politics to the rest of the country? Like Marlon Brando said, acting is a bums occupation. The lowest of the low are involved in it. I had another actor friend of mine who told me the drugs that are involved is insane. Heroin, cocaine, you name it all done regularly by the biggest names in Hollywood and why they regularly praise people like Castro or Chavez when he was alive, not because they were communist but because those two would set these celebs up with cocaine in exchange for praise.

Nicely reasoned, but I don’t entirely agree with you. Having spent a few of my young years in and around Ho-wood, and having been to a few Ho-wood parties, I know for a fact that women throw themselves at celebrities. They don’t have to be coaxed or lied to or fooled in any way. They WANT TO BE KNOWN as Star F****RS, another star, another notch in their belts, or whatever gets notched. It’s a competition. They are not victims.

Remember the “Groupies” that followed rock stars in the ‘60s and ‘70s? It was an “honor” to be the guy’s “lady” that night and for as many nights as she could hold his interest.

Sooooo, Cosby might be the worst jerk in the world, perhaps he raped, pillaged and plundered sweet young things, but FOR SURE he didn’t have any problem whatsoever finding women — gorgeous women —eager to jump in the sack with him each and every night of the week and brag about it the next day.

“Cosby is being cancelled right and left, his new TV series, his TV special, his stand up engagements, even his old reruns.”

Freed Hardeman University, a Church of Christ school in Henderson Tennessee is refusing to cancel his appearance though. He is speaking in the first week of December at an annual fund raising event. Apparently the good folks in the CoC are on the hook for the speaking fee and won’t cancel. Talking about misplaced priorities

I remember reading Shirley Jone’s autobiography, and she detailed how she and her then husband -Jack Cassidy - would attend numerous parties at the home of Sammy Davis Jr., and how he had cocaine all lined up for his guests when they arrived. Hollywood is a depraved, evil place.

I’m not convinced either way on these charges. Cosby could be guilty of abusing his position and raping women/girls because he knew he could get away with it. He could also be the target of character assassination for criticizing the “Black leaders” and Obama for failing to take personal responsibility. I take the charges far less seriously because of the long delay between the alleged events and the public claims, but I don’t have a strong impression either way on what the truth might be.

“I know for a fact that women throw themselves at celebrities.”

I agree with you there have always been women who throw themselves at celebrities and are willing participants in the system. Cosby and others likely have no problem finding willing participants in their sexual escapades. However, when the free candy is no longer enough to satisfy the appetite, and the fun loving personality becomes a violent and manipulative predator, the fun becomes one sided and a power trip. The use of force and power to compel behavior is immoral and often criminal. If the stories about Cosby are true, he crossed the line.

“Bill Clinton is disgraced”??? Are you freakin’ kidding me, sister?

The man is considered an ICON virtually everywhere on the planet.

If that’s “disgrace”’, sign me up for a whole bunch of it.

By the way, dearie, I hereby accuse you of being a troll.

There is no conspiracy against Cosby by Democrats.

Cosby respects the positive influence church can have on a society, if used properly, and cites the Muslim religion as an example, saying: If you visit these neighborhoods and look, the thing that stands out with the black Muslims is no drugs, no alcohol.2

Bill Cosby is a Democrat, make no mistake about it. Of the $20,000 Cosby has donated to political causes since 1987, the majority of it was to Democratic candidates and the rest was to either Democrat or non-partisan special interest groups.5

He campaigned for Obama in 20086 and defended the president’s name in 2012. Referring to Obama’s epic battles with Congress, Cosby said:

And then when you see that [Obama] made promises and said things, the people who were supposed to be working with him didn’t. The people who are supposed to be working — even for another party — didn’t care about the American people. They wanted to get him… I believe he is for the people.7

Dangerous too. I was young, going out with a nice dentist (my mother approved). He came over one day to announce that we had been invited to a big star -studded party in the Hollywood Hills by his barber — a barber-to-the-stars, or “internationally known hair stylist.”

I felt like I’d been kicked in the stomach. My immediate reaction was an explosive, from the gut, NO! So we didn’t go.

His barber was Jay Sebring, who was killed that night, along with Sharon Tate and others by the Manson gang.

Funny how grace can sometimes come as a kick in the gut.
