Ex-NBC employee Frank Scotti claims Bill Cosby paid off women

Back when Bill Cosby was the king of network television, veteran NBC employee Frank Scotti served as the royal fixer.

When Cosby invited young models into his Brooklyn dressing room, the megastar’s pal stood watch outside the door. When the married Cosby sought a Queens apartment for another pretty face, Scotti arranged the deal.

And when the man behind Fat Albert needed cash disbursed to his flock of single female friends — hey, hey, hey — Scotti became the conduit for payments of up to $2,000 a month.

“He had everybody fooled,” said Scotti in an exclusive interview with the Daily News. “Nobody suspected.”

Scotti came forward last week with his insider’s look at Cosby’s womanizing ways during the magical 1984-92 run of “The Cosby Show.”

The gossip is that someone on The Cosby Show knows first hand what kind of things happened. Victim.

Speculation has been that it is Lisa Bonet.

Now she tweets this:

According to the karma of past actions, one’s destiny unfolds, even though everyone wants to be so lucky… Nothing stays in the dark 4ever!

Given what we have heard from Scotti so far, he did nothing illegal. Also, it appears that Bill Cosby was careful about making sure Scotti had no opportunity to see anything which was illegal enough to standup in a court of law. Bill Cosby could have sued Scotti for defamation in the absence of the rape victims’ supporting testimonies they were raped. We have already seen many of these women, including some who received Scotti’s money orders from Cosby, refusing to discuss the rape cases. They are very likely silenced by NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreements) in exchange for hush money settlements. Under these circumstances, it was more likely Scotti could have gone to prison or been sued into homelessness in a civil court lawsuit had he come forward without the support of the rape victims.

YOu know, it comes down again... to being without any moral compass. No religious basis. And I’ll go one step further, that it’s not being Christian. ... In the end... he’s a lonely guy who will wither away into oblivion.

In the end, everlasting punishment for serial sexual predators, and all who approve of them, except they repent and become clean, which they cannot do by denying the truth and believing a lie. Their souls are infected with an almost incurable disease.

It wasn’t meant to be difficult or obscure. Try interpreting it in your own words, and then I’ll help you if you stray from the gist. The key lies in the last sentence.

Without God you are just an organism, mutating as you will. Cosby is example one in this truth.

I do. Not that they seem to care.

Surely some adviser can explain to the Coz that all he has to do is explain that he’s pro-choice (even post-birth), he wants extra rights for homosexuals, he believes in global warming, wants gun confiscation, thinks all minorities should receive reparations, and most of all — young black men should do whatever they feel like and there is no need to take any responsibility for anything. If he would just say these things, the democrat media control machine would get off his back.

Yes, and we also heard from Lois Lerner that she did nothing wrong either - as a self-serving preface to her claiming the 5th.

Call it on-screen persona, his contributions to comedy in the early years or whatever. Because of this, many people are inclined to stick up for him and think back on the women that attacked Hermain Cain, or the Anita Hill performance re: Clarence Thomas as a corollary. More odd is the total quash on all of Bill Clinton's alleged rapes and assaults not even deigning to label them mere peccadillos as with Monica Lewinsky.

Personally, I don't feel such a connection. To my mind, when one thinks of public personality portrayal and their roles being contradictory with real life, I look at Pee Wee Herman and his downfall.

I don't have a dog in this hunt, really. Cosby will get what he deserves, either legally or professionally. Or, alternatively, it will cost him MORE hush money than before and he'll have to find somebody other than Scotti to deliver it.

This is to all the Gubered ones on here jumping on the DNC Caining script over Cosby. There was nothing in that hit piece evidencing the NBC caliber person was paid to do what he claims.

What about Scotti's claim that some of the models Cosby met with privately were as young as 16? If someone alleged that about me, I would raise bloody hell and sue the pants off whoever said it. I'm sure you would as well.

But the Cos says nothing.

‘Late Show With David Letterman’ staffers relieved they don’t have to deal with upcoming Bill Cosby appearance’

http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/gossip/confidential/cbs-women-curry-favor-article-1.2020179

From the article:

“He’d include as a request, before he arrived, that the young girls, interns and assistants, all had to gather around in the green room backstage and sit down and watch him eat curry,” our stunned source explains. “No one would say anything, and he would sit silently eating and make us watch and want us to watch.”

In the wake of multiple women accusing Cosby of raping them, his latest visit to the CBS show has been canceled. But when the 77- year-old comic appeared multiple times over the years, he’d act alarmingly gross to the women employees.

Simple, He is following the logical and prudent course of not giving the enemy anything to use while the attack is ongoing.

The old days of playing by the left’s rules are gone. Just because they try to control the course of discussion by provoking a response does not mean you have to respond to it. Better if you don’t - see last election.

Probably not an uh-oh. The age of consent which is the basis for statutory rape laws has been raised in a lot of states over the past few decades — oddly the “blue” states leading the way to push it to 18. Most likely when and where this took place, 16 year olds were deemed able to consent to sex, and sex with a consenting 16 year old was not a crime.

The issues here are two-fold, one moral — any truth to the allegations, even Scotti’s allegations, and Cosby is shown to be a hypocrite — the other legal, based on the accusations that Cosby is guilty of actual rape in the classical legal sense (not turning on niceties of age-of-consent which vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction) by the use of amnestic drugs.

“The statute of limitations has expired and no charges can be brought.”

I don’t think there is a statute of limitations for rape. That said, it will be difficult probably to prove rape after so many years. If these stories are true, it must have been hell for these women to see him not only get away with it, but continues his life as though nothing happened, enjoying fame and fortune. I guess we have no right to expect justice in life, but I’m certain that justice denied after going through something like that is very hard to live with.

Re: "jumping on the DNC script". Did you mean "jumping on" as in jumping on the bandwagon, i.e., supporting it, or "jumping on" as in attacking them?

Re: "paid to do what he did". Did you mean paid to help Cosby score chicks, or paid to come forward and expose Cosby? Getting extra cash for pimping during those years, well who knows. Today's question is, was he paid extra to suddenly rat Cosby out at the optimum moment.....fuel for Ferguson, and fuel for Hillary, and fuel against Cosby's anti-Dem sentiments.

Would NBC do such a thing to advance the Dem agenda? Yes they would. They wet-dream over helping Obama transform America into a land where everybody is fairies and elves, and we can have all the comic books we want and chocolate and wax lips (sorry pedo-Woody)......so what's a silly black man in the greater scheme of the greater good?

I'm not condoning ANYTHING whatsoever. I'm just saying there could be some additional and convenient foul play going on here.

You do realize I was saying Scotti has said nothing “so far” to indicate Scotti did anything illegal?
