Historic Global Temperature Drop Predicted
Space and Science Research Corporation ^ | November 20, 2014 | Press Release

Posted on 11/24/2014 5:17:23 AM PST by dontreadthis

The Space and Science Research Corporation (SSRC) announces today an important set of climate change predictions dealing with the coming cold climate epoch that will dominate global temperatures for the next thirty years.

According to analysis of the most reliable solar activity trends and climate models based on the Relational Cycle Theory (RC Theory), the SSRC concludes the following:

1. The Earth is about to begin a steep drop in global temperatures off its present global temperature plateau. This plateau has been caused by the absence of growth in global temperatures for 18 years, the start of global cooling in the atmosphere and the oceans, and the end of a short period of moderate solar heating from an unusually active secondary peak in solar cycle #24.

2. Average global atmospheric and oceanic temperatures will drop significantly beginning between 2015 and 2016 and will continue with only temporary reversals until they stabilize during a long cold temperature base lasting most of the 2030's and 2040's. The bottom of the next global cold climate caused by a "solar hibernation" (a pronounced reduction in warming energy coming from the Sun) is expected to be reached by the year 2031.

3. The predicted temperature decline will continue for the next fifteen years and will likely be the steepest ever recorded in human history, discounting past short-duration volcanic events.

4. Global average temperatures during the 2030's will reach a level of at least 1.5° C lower than the peak temperature year of the past 100 years established in 1998. The temperatures during the 2030's will correspond roughly to that observed from 1793 to 1830, shortly after the founding of the United States of America. This average lower global temperature of 1.5° C on average, translates to declines in temperatures that will be devastating for crop growing regions in the mid latitudes of the planet.

They could be referring to the sunspot cycle and the observed decline in sunspot activity. I am thinking that the sunspot decline will affect the climate on Earth by driving temps down.

And all this time I was absolutely sure that the California Global Warming Solutions Act by Arnold Schwarzenegger, was Solely responsible for the Massive Cooling we are experiencing. Maybe some States should SUE California for causing this anyway??

Oddly enough, we do need some new technology for agriculture, not based on climate, but based on the need to avoid weather.

At first, more experimental than practical, the idea is to create 3D pyramid and underground agriculture, gigantic greenhouses that produce some crops year around. (This enigmatic statement needs a lot of background.)

In the Netherlands, space is very limited, so they have created a pyramid of sorts, to raise farm animals. They try to be conservative with their energy needs, by using the methane produced by the animal waste, and conservative of water by filtering and recycling. With the added benefit of using the algae produced to add to the animal fodder for better nutrition.

While this is currently done for animals, it might become very practical for more nutritious, that is, denser for the given space, and higher value crops.

Conversely, in hot climates, it is often too hot, and water too scarce, so putting an “upside down” pyramid underground solves many problems. In this case, using the methane to cool the place, and channeling light instead of using direct sunlight, again to reduce heat. And, of course, recycling the water to conserve it.

An important bottom line is twofold: first, so that there is a reasonably certain *marginal* amount of food if inclement weather of any kind damages the primary agriculture, thus helping to protect availability and price stability. And second, to protect the plants and animals, including bees, from acute plague diseases that could wipe them out.

Additional benefits include isolating experimental GM plants and animals, to prevent cross contamination; as well as breeding endangered plants and animals in controlled conditions, to help replenish their numbers in the wild.

END GLOBAL WEATHER!!!

The Russians have been predicting global cooling, natural cooling, for years now.

The predicted temperature decline will continue for the next fifteen years and will likely be the steepest ever recorded in human history

This statement is over the top. Anyone looking not just at Cycle 24, but all the solar maxima and minima, and the obverse cycles in the interplanetary magnetic field and infall of high-energy cosmic rays (the latter do not have any proven link to Earth temperatures, though there may be an link to cloud cover), "these data show" a gradual increase in maxima through the 20th century, with the present cycle being the exception.

Be that as it may, there have been similar coolings and warming in any "human history" that exceeds 100 years, and well-recorded in the proxies, back the Young Dyras, 13,000 years ago.

Some maxima during the mid to late 19th century were mind-boggling. Go back to the early 14th century and seven or eight centuries earlier, and there were coolings hard to imagine, in living memory.

In short, it's always tempting to describe living memory as "human history."

The Space and Science Research Corporation (SSRC) announces today an important set of climate change predictions dealing with the coming cold climate epoch that will dominate global temperatures for the next thirty years.

I believe that Russian scientists have been predicting global cooling for several years now. Given that the Sun is the dominant factor in climate change, the SSRC has a credible prediction that is consistent with the past two years of colder than normal temperatures.

What do politicians do when reality overtakes their preconceived notions of how science and physics actually work?

Have you ever asked your in-law how many SUVs are on Mars? Mars, as well as other solar planets are experiencing global warming.

What I typically get when I present contrary information is simple flat-out denial.
Really p*sses me off, to say the least, basically calling me a liar.

I read this on a climate blog (so take this with a big grain of salt.) Several years back there was a consensus of 97 scientists about mankind and co2 being the cause of global warming. Then someone in WH communications slapped on a % sign and viola, the 97% figure was born!

This plateau has been caused by the absence of growth in global temperatures for 18 years

Starting off with a tautological statement doesn’t fill me with confidence, that’s for sure.

Can a -1.0 deviation really cause another ice age?

No... it would take much more. I was just commenting based on the longer term temperature records, which clearly show... the Ice Age cycle is past due, by a few thousand years... for another round of cold.

Actually, it’s a reduction of UV back to normal levels rather than a reduction in IR. UV spikes with heavy sunspot activity.
