Nah, that's the pot edibles. Since smoked pot takes effect so quickly, one smokes until as high as desired then stops - stronger pot just means fewer puffs.
And that is why holder wanted a second autopsy.
“Because I got High....Because I got High....Because I got High......”
Peaceful Doper.
“College bound?”
Of course... Don’t you recognize a budding “Roads” Scholar when you see one?
Don't smoke pot so I can't speak to that.
I do know that the latest versions of super weed have been selectively bred for more potent high and it's not just the THC concentration alone at work.
As the previous poster has noted, THC is not a single compound, it's a mix of compounds and isomers and the mix of Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) components is actually different in the harder hitting super weeds. The way they have made the super weed more potent is by selectively breeding the plants to increase the relative concentrations of the more psychotropic THC isomers in the plants total THC content.
The newer strains of Pot plants are not just more potent, they are qualitatively different in composition than the pot available in the 60s and 70s and thus qualitatively different in the kind of high they give.
The super weed is both much stronger and has more of the THC components associated with paranoia, warped perceptions, bad trips, anger outbursts and violent reactions than earlier versions of the plant.
The stronger, more potent concentrations potentially allow for much higher quantities of the intoxicant compounds to be ingested before incapacitation if loaded into a more massive , bulk smoking delivery method such as. perhaps, a Swisher Sweet cigar.
When I was prosecuting and defending in the Air Force, the DoD cutoff for a positive marijuana test was 400ng/ml, 150ng/ml for cocaine. This must be some potent sh!t if 12 ng/mil is presumptive impairment.
Twice the legal limit though from another state. Back when I was in the drug and alcohol intervention business we had no test for toxicity levels. It was simply positive or not.
Off topic but anyone else taken aback by the news coverage, by how shocked these news people appear to be about the grand jury ruling? And acting as if this violence is an expected response to the alleged, injustice???
Yes, a lot of people have bought into this being racial injustice.
Holy hell, the cop had a description of the guy down to his yellow socks and Swisher Sweets, and this guy matched it to a T, as did his accomplice. THIS WAS A VIOLENT SUSPECT. Not a sweet boy. Who cares what his race was?
Yours is Post of the Day.
I don't know the correct term, but it's been written several times that of all forms of domesticated plants on the planet, the one by far most manipulated by mankind is cannabis.
Way more than corn or wheat or any food crop.
The reason is that any kid in a basement can cross two strains very easily, and they do, in an attempt to create new strains.
There is even a naming convention for it: The father plant gives his first name to the new strain, and the mother gives the last name.
Thus, a male "White Widow" mated with a female "Maui Wowie" would yield a new strain called "White Wowie".
Don't ask me how I know this.
There is no evidence that cannabis has been gentically modified, and there is no economic reason to do so.
I don’t know the correct term, but it’s been written several times that of all forms of domesticated plants on the planet, the one by far most manipulated by mankind is cannabis..........
.....Don’t ask me how I know this.
Perish the thought.
If true - and I've found no evidence for it - this is another argument for legalization and regulation: in that environment, there will be less incentive for as-high-as-possible and more for minimizing paranoia and anger.
Whoah are you out of touch.
I don't remember which reporter it was, but he said, last night, the smell of alcohol and weed was very strong in the crowd.
Guilty as charged
Bump for later.
