Dead Donkeys Dumped Along New Jersey Road

Authorities are trying to determine who dumped two dead donkeys off a road in Jackson Township.

The remains were found last week near East Veterans Highway and Bennetts Mills Road..........

I’m speechless. No comment, but I remember the Animal House scene where Flounder gets even and accidentally kills Neidermeyer’s horse, then leaves him in Dean Wormer’s office, dead, hoofs up . Now I can’t get a similar image out of my mind. Two dead donkeys, hoofs up, lying next to the road. I’m sure there’s a message here somewhere.

Wow, the poor beasts. Jackson Township is about 20 minutes west of where I live. It's a pretty rural area. Lot's of horse farms, bred mostly for the Meadowlands race track.

Jackson Twp. is the northern tip of the South Jersey Piney kingdom. All kinds of weirdness, Jersey Devil, inbreds, mental hospitals, screeches in the night that people think are panther sounds.
That’s where the Tiger Lady had her compound.
Very spooky.
