Knife-Wielding Man Sought At Cal State Long Beach

Authorities are searching for a knife-wielding man who accosted a female student in a parking structure on the campus of California State University Long Beach.

The woman was attacked about 2:20 p.m. Monday inside Parking Structure 1 at the north end of the campus near the Pyramid, according to campus police

Is it just me, or has there been a sudden surge in knife and other (non-gun) attacks?

A knife wound is a whole different world of hurt. As a trained knife fighter, I learned from a Pilipino martial arts instructor and seen some truly horrific fights.
I have always said I would rather be shot than sliced.
Thank God and Colt for guns.

Not doubting this happened but Long Beach State’s parking structure #1 at 2:20 pm should have been pretty crowded at that time. It’s right between the administration building and the Pyramid.

Wonder why no one else saw this.

If students were allowed to carry, the women might have told the authorities "You don't have to search. His body is over there."
