I ask taller people for help all the time in a store if I’ve tried to use other devices or boxes to get something from the top or back of a shelf. Being 5’2”, I cannot reach the back of upper shelves without assistance of some kind. Everyone is always very nice about it.
I recall one very bad day for my knees when I asked a man to reach something from the back of the lowest shelf. He was quite pleasant about it and didn’t think I was sexist at all.

Wow. It certainly tells you her mindset. Nothing about how rude it is to spread your stuff all over a seat so another passenger can’t sit down.
Schools, at all levels, teach nescience rather than useful subjects such as reading, writing, and arithmetic.
The press more often than not share their nescience., which reinforces the nescience of Americans educated in the public and private schools across the USA.
