The public will finally get to see “The Search for Michael Rockefeller” Feb. 1 when Netflix releases the documentary on one of the most compelling unsolved mysteries of the 20th century.
The film confirms what The Post reported in 1968: Cannibals devoured the son of New York Gov. Nelson Rockefeller.

Jared Diamond of “Guns, Germs, and Steel” seems to think so. In fact, in his book Diamond claims that the stone age savage, cannibals who ate Rockefeller are just as intelligent as people anywhere in the world. They were just born in the wrong place according to Diamond.
Well, the good thing about a gourd is that in a wet environment they protect you from stinging critters and being absorbant keep the junk fungus-free.

I don’t think a documentary can “confirm” anything except conventional wisdom. It’s been the accepted theory forever that they ate him, just like it’s accepted that communist guerillas killed Errol Flynn’s son.
