Please continue on. I recall a team getting 5 downs.

I don’t have a problem with the great history of Penn State Football.

I do have a problem with how that power was wielded and why it killed Joe Paterno so quick.

Oregon early 7 point favorites over Ohio State. I think they win the game as easy as they beat FSU. They are clicking on all cylinders and no team can keep up with that lighning face offense. They just wear you down and the only teams that ever beat them are in the PAC because they are somewhat familiar with the offense. I think Oregon would have also stomped Alabama.

I know all about the SEC. Been an SEC fan since forever. Never was an Aggie fan until they joined the SEC. Now I love ‘em.

Okay, Mo and GA, from the East, won. The other winners were SC 6-6, Tx A&M 7-5, Arkansas 6-6.

The losers were LSU, Auburn, Alabama, Ole Miss and Miss State. ... all from the mighty West. It will be up to 6-6 Tenn, from the East, to get us past 50%. LOL

No I’m thinking Gods Team

Ohio State

Wisconsin

Oregon

Michigan State

All winners

....the highest ranked Southern schools who played non Southern schools lost including several like Alabama, Florida State, LSU, Baylor and Auburn who were favored against Yankee teams but lost

I mean really....Wisconsin.... Madison freakville beat Auburn

And Oregon....the stoned Ducks of Eugene......an otherworldly libtard mecca beat the inheritors of Saint Bowden

It was a rough day.

Late to the post, I know - but WHAT a great game the UW Badgers had yesterday! A great end to a rocky season for us.

Go, Bucky! :)

you get one shot to win these games and you get what you have on that day.

Oregon has won on the road as you may know. OSU had a fine season, but I have never seen a team with speed and ability to put points up like Oregon. I predict they will lave OSU in their wake. And Oregon ale has an excellent defense.

Best team speed on both D and O.’Not an Oregon fan, but they are fun to watch.

I agree, when they are on their game...it's something to see for sure.

I watched the first part of the PAC(10,12, whatever it is now)Championship game and they were(at best) average...lot's of mistakes on both sides of the ball.

For a quick-snap team like that it's all about timing, disrupt their timing and the offensive scheme falls apart. Anybody that plays that team knows you have to keep the ball away from their offense...meaning long-sustained drives by your own offense...OSU's 3rd string QB is built like a fullback and they've got a pretty stout offensive line themselves...they'll need both to grind out first-downs and keep the ball out of Mariota's hands.

Lately it seems the best team(on paper)doesn't always win the big game, it's all about peaking at the right time.

We'll see if Meyer can get his team focused after a big win...

...if not...it'll be a long night.

I’m a soCal fan both UCLA and USC and San Diego State is my local.

Recently Oceanside HS was 14-0 and lost to Folsom HS in the state finals 68-7. The QB for Folsom broke the national HS record for touchdown passes in a season. He is headed to U of Washington.

He will have some impact on the entire conference. Maybe a game changer next season.

I looked at a few post-game boards and the 'bama fans were livid, blaming Lane Kiffin for trying to turn a successful pounding running game offense into a more contemporary passing one.

...'bama's biggest problem seemed to be their traditional size/speed linebackers/others putting pressure on the QB were nowhere to be found most of the game(I know they had guys hurt at that position).

SEC size/speed has been the reason for their success in recent years, and other conferences have seemingly decided to go in that direction as well(or at least try)in order to compete on the national stage.

Of course there are those(like Chip Kelly, a few others)who like to disrupt the trends.

...but Oregon doesn't look like they lost much in the transition to Helfrich, I'm assuming he kept the majority of the(Kelly)staff intact.
