I Can't Support the War On Terror (Re-Visited)

Sorry folks, but I can no longer lend my support to the War on Terror. I'm tired of being lied to by our elected leadership. What am I talking you about, you ask? Specifically, when I'm a told by the President of the United States, that Islam is a "Religion of Peace".

How am I supposed to square that statement with reality? How am I supposed to support the decision and policies of our government in waging war when our leaders can't even begin to tell the truth about the enemy we're fighting?

If the president fears he may offend someone by telling it like it is, namely that we are at war with Islam, then we may as well pack up and send our troops home.

Although not a great fan of Louis Farrakhan (just between you and me, I think the man is nuts) I viewed a video of the man giving a talk in Fresno some years ago. He made a comment concerning truth, and I paraphrase, "If you're hurt by the truth, then you must be the guilty party".

If the Islamic community is hurt by the truth of their so-called religion of peace, then they are the guilt party, and until our leaders start telling the truth about this gutter religion, I'll have to refrain from supporting the cowardly facade they call the War on Terror.

P.S. And for any ass-clowns who might bemoan and decry that my argument is not supportive of the troops, kiss my grits.

The original was posted 8 years ago as food for thought. I received quite a bit of flak and criticism and may discounted the premise based on a quote I used from none other than Louis Farrakhan himself. I like shock value, as it separates the men from the boys, and let's one know who actually uses their brain to think rather than be controlled by their emotions.

The talking heads have taken up the point of discussion that I attempted to communicate 8 years ago, and given recent events in Paris, I thought it interesting to re-post them. Stay well, stay safe.

Thank you for reposting what was posted eight years ago. Is timely to share the truth, always, and yes has taken eight years plus for the talking heads to begin to speak to the truth regarding the evil of islam. May the trend of the truth continue and grow six billion fold to the one point six billion that are islam. Eight years is a long time for the enemy to arm, pillage and destroy lives.

Exactly right.

We should not send our best young men to fight and die until the truth is told.

Pray for revival.

"Pray for revival."

It's the only hope for this nation, and the world.

Wonder who Louis Wolcott (I refuse to use his adopted name) stole that from, because it sounds too much like “To anger a conservative, tell him a lie; to anger a liberal, tell him the truth”. Of course, he himself is hurt by the truth all the time, once he is actually forced to face it.

Could you support a war on the USA’s enemies? because right now, we are having a war on none of our enemies, and Obama has been fomenting a war on US citizens instead.

Other than college professors & dingbat students, I doubt if many in the West really believe that Islam is a religion of peace. Many may know individual Muslims who ARE peaceful so they want to believe that Islam is peaceful, in spite of the daily, world wide evidence to the contrary.

National leaders are a different category. They are trying to forestall the day when open confrontation with the Islamic Caliphate leads to war. Western “leaders” & “intelligentsia” insist that Islam is a religion, ignoring the fact that it is is, in fact, an all encompassing political system with a state mandated system of worship.

Islam without the threat & muscle of the State & Sword would be of no more threat than Buddhism. With State & Sword behind it but without petrodollars, multiculturalism and political correctness, Islam still would not be the Global threat that it now is.

With all respect, the Presidents of the US know more than you.

"With all respect, the Presidents of the US know more than you."

Maybe, maybe not. It depends on what subject you're talking about. In this particular subject they may have more information, but that isn't really the point is it? What really matters is what they do with that information. I have a problem with the establishment applying dis-information to promulgate global sharia. Do you have a problem with that?

Yes I can. The Farrakhan quote I found to be doubly ironic due to the fact that it is true, and also because it is muslims who display such outrage sparked by the speaking of the Truth.
