I just read that. It says the incident should be reported to the commissioner and the referee select another ball, but nothing about a penalty. Isn’t it odd that an employee of the team is in charge of the balls after the game begins?

Pretty much sum$ up the NFL. Black thugs on the field, white trash in the stands.

To avoid this kind of crap: wouldn't it be better to put the officials in charge of all of the game balls.

It will almost certainly be that way next season.

"To avoid this kind of crap: wouldn't it be better to put the officials in charge of all of the game balls."

That is what I said. Ball boys should now work for the NFL not the teams and report directly to the Refs. The Refs bring the balls to each game and inspect the balls a couple hours prior using the ball boys to make sure they are properly inflated and weighed.

Problem solved.

Like they do in baseball? Most of us assumed it was, until now.

After the balls are inspected by the refs 2.5 hrs before the game and marked they are help by the refs and given to the ball boys on the field a couple of minutes before game time.

Unless there is vid showing a ball being deflated on the sidelines f the NFL and the drug addict owner of the dolts Isray.

BTW after the balls were replaced by the refs at halftime Brady completed his first 8 passes and smoked the dolts in the second half 28-0.

Thanks for giving the Pats correctly inflated balls. Now go fine A Rogers and the Packers who brag about using over inflated balls.

Not a big feetsball fan. I watch some playoff games and the super duper bowl.

But I hate all things Boston(NE....same same) and expect them to cheat . So Go Yanks!..err...go Seattle!....and try to make more of a game of it this year...blowouts are only loved by die hard fans.
(And thank goodness spring training starts soon)

After the Packers lost, I don't have an interest in who wins the SP...because I won't be watching it. But to give Pats fans their due, everybody hates a winner. Or eventually hates them if they win too much.

And even if Belichick wasn't a sneaky b..tard and Brady wasn't an arrogant jerk, millions of non-Pats fans would still hate them...because they've won so much lately.

Like Dallas fans from previous years (and the Pats guy in the video), eventually all the fans of dominant teams become smug a..holes who delight in the hatred poured on their team by losers er fans of other teams.

Heck, I know GB was hated in the sixties after winning so much. Think I cared? As the saying goes, I'd rather be hated and feared than loved and pitied.

Maybe the NFL should fire all their officials and hire NASCAR ones. They have alot of experience with teams bending the rules.

This is one of the best replies to that video, so good I felt it deserved repeating for the FR crowd.

"I love this! So true. It pisses off every non-Pats fan. We Patriots fans secretly hate all of you too. We laugh at your team's mediocrity. We feel superior to you. We don't care about you or your team. We would deflate the balls again if we could and laugh in your face just to keep pissing you off. Call us dirty. Call us evil. Call us cheaters. We don't care... we actually love it. The only thing missing is having Suh on our team to top it off."

Unbowed, unmoved, unapologetic and unflappable... just like you would expect from the greatest NFL team in History. Now the Pats have been really ticked off. I feel seriously bad for the Seattle Seahags. They are headed for a blazing buzz saw on crank. LMAO!!!

Agree. The teams can still rough them up for gripping purposes, but need
to give them back to refs who would be responsible for replacement during game.

They would also need to possess any that the players keep after scoring a TD or getting an interception.

Another version of Al Davis and “ Just Win Baby”

Al didn’t care about character in his players... He just wanted Victory....
