How do you know they had cash?
'Cause they're missing.
Change the name of Craiglist to Deathlist or Deathwish.
I’ve used it a few times but not for guns or anything remotely expensive other than a car. We went in pairs on that.
I mean, really, if someone knows you are going to show up with a lot of cash in you pocket or a guns? Hope your life insurance is paid up.
Good idea the police parking lot as long as you aren’t selling a gun. That might raise some eyebrows unless you know the cops.
“...get the other guys phone number and name. While they can also fake their name, its harder to fake a number that cant be traced. Call it to ensure its answered. Give that information to a third party.”

The perp(s) used a burner cell phone. Those can be used to fake names and, as many know or are finding out from all the spam calls now-a-days, the caller ID information can be replaced by fake name/information.
Grammar Nazi here. “Driven” is the Past Participle of “drive.”. The couple had driven ... Not drove ...
This is the FB page for them. Lots of info.

Yes, it appears that journalists are no longer required to take English grammar classes.
I’ve sold cars on Craigslist before. I have them meet me in front of the credit union during daylight business hours. I also bring my pistol with me.

Walmart or other big box store parking lot.
Make sure the meeting goes down where security cameras can be seen.
I would suggest two to answer the ad. One stays in the car, and park where the item is seen, yet far enough to offer protected observation.

I am praying they will be found, but I do not expect it to be alive. This runs like too many true crime shows. They were an easy target with a decent vehicle that placed and ad for their ‘dream car’ and low and behold a stranger happens to have one. This is a killer’s fantasy for a mark.
That was their “other mistake” (Facebook page).
Prayers for them.
Has anyone been keeping track of the total so far?
Rapes, robberies and killings?
Bttt
If your logs are sawed 16" long, that would be 3 rows.
It seemed to me that I could be using a past tense for wood that had already been cut... but I was confused how to write that. Would it be:
A) If your logs had been sawed 16" long..."
B) If your logs had been sawn 16" long...
C) If your logs have been sawed 16" long...
D) If your logs have been sawn 16" long...
OR
E) Screw it. Move to Florida.
That jumped off the screen for me, too.
