The Valentine’s Day Love Kit, sold at Albertsons locations, includes fuzzy handcuffs, a blind fold, a do not disturb sign for the door, a tickler, and dice telling you to touch, kiss, and tickle different body parts as part of a sensual game.

...

An Albertsons spokesperson explained the Love Kit is a novelty item, which has been sold in past years.

It is supposed to only be displayed in the liquor isle at locations, officials explained.

In West Los Angeles, Albertsons locations will reportedly remove the item from the candy isle, to make sure that it is seen by adult eyes only.

Eye candy?

Who invented this product - Elliot Spitzer, Bill Clinton, Al Sharpton, Al Gore or John Edwards?

They’re using West Los Angeles as their standard, an area where the population is up in arms at the possibility that people are actually touching each other?

Everybody’s getting into the game ... gotta make a buck somehow. I have laying on the desk beside me a mailer from the US Postal Service. It shows a graphic resembling a torn envelope with a lightning bolt showing through. Below that in brilliant red lettering are the words ...

Digitally-enhanced mail.
It’s more powerful than you think.

The innuendo fairly leaps off the page at you.

Citizens taking personal action in the interests of their children is not a nanny state.

Nanny state. I admit that I did not go to the link, but the excerpt does not indicate any government involvement in this incident. Did I miss something?
