Watching on the weather map...it’s growing. Shoot, we aren’t going to be snowed in just Sunday and Monday. We’ll be fortunate to get out by Tuesday afternoon.

This is NOT a New York weatherman generated panic storm.

We were supposed to get a dose of snow but it looks as if it will all move past us (in central Missouri) way to the north. The only bad weather this winter was in November...

This storm can’t be too fierce, the weather service has dubbed it “Linus.”

Hey-—Queens, NY got 10-12” of snow. That was actually the bottom of the predicted snowfall, so it wasn’t totally inaccurate. I have not used my car since right before the storm, because parking spaces are either full of someone’s car or a pile of snow. And now, we are expecting 4-8” more Sunday night through Monday! And, an appetizer of sleet and freezing rain to have to walk through first Monday morning. Wonderful commuting weather. Not.

Everyone, stay safe.

I’m in western PA. Getting a little of that storm. Looks like it will hit those closest to Lake Erie the hardest. I’m further south, so less snow, but there is the possibility of freezing rain.

Thank God I’m retired. Don’t have to go anywhere Monday.

I'm surprised Denver (one of my favorite vacation places) hasn't gotten much snow, having such a high elevation. NYC has had bitter cold weather for the longest time now. Last night and today we had winds gusting to 50 or so mph. I had a kitchen window cracked open the tiniest bit and you could have flown a kite in the kitchen! When we do have some little snow melt, by nighttime it has frozen, presenting a severe ice hazard to have to walk over in the morning. My porch often has a very thin layer of ice in the morning, and I have to hold on to my porch railing to safely make it down. I'm going to finally clear out the snow around my car tomorrow morning and make a grocery run to restock. I also have to do my laundry, because once that snow hits, our co-op complex locks the laundry room until they clear the steep stairs down to it.

All in all, this winter's been a horrible pain and it's not done with us by a long shot.

Right on the line for this...

We’ll either get 4-8 inches, or an inch of ice on Sunday. Already got a covering of light snow.

Yippee...
