Texans bringing pot back from Colorado has no bearing on the claim that usage will grow if the product is made available.

PUT DOWN THE ROACH CLIP AND STEP AWAY FROM THE KEYBOARD!

Bringing back from Colorado is very possibly just a change in source rather than new usage - Colorado sellers effectively cutting into Texas dealers' market - so my statement is accurate.

There is no obligation from them to tell the truth one way or the other.

There is also no reason to expect systematic changes in degree of truth-telling from one year to another, so a lack of increase in self-reported use is meaningful.

And let's not forget, "Reliable or not, those are the figures being put out by the people who make it their job to come up with such figures. No doubt they are a statistical extrapolation. Till someone presents an argument that there are better figures, I will have no choice but to use what is available."

As useful as a roulette wheel or a dart board.

There is also no reason to expect large random changes in degree of truth-telling from one year to another, so a lack of increase in self-reported use is meaningful.
