Not good for women with family history or personal history of estrogen fed cancers either and soy is not the only culprit. Flax seed is worse than soy and flax is one of the highly promoted health foods now. Sad for me is that grapefruit is also on the list. Instead of everday I only have grapefruit once a week or less now.

Except anything soy will turn you into Chelsea Manning or Bruce Jenner.

Watch out for beer...there's estrogen in there. Bud = Chelsea Manning?

Lecithin is lecithin, no matter the source. It is not clear what you're saying here, or why.

Unless it is fermented, it’s not good for women either. It’s one of those foods that was promoted as a health food when it is really the opposite.

Clearly, the only truly safe diet these days is quite simply to eat nothing at all.

Amen! My wife roasts both brussels sprouts and asparagus (with crumbled cheese) in the oven...to die for!

Interesting the Japanese have been eating it forever and has no impact on them. Soy sauce, Tofu, crackers, on and on. Maybe the higher seafood diet counteracts ill effects?

It’s been a while since I read about it, but IIRC much of their soy is fermented and that makes a difference as to how your body processes it. Their pancreas differs as well(larger than cuacasians, I think) so their bodies can handle large amounts of rice. Maybe that affects how soy is used by the body?

In the US most of the soybeans planted are Round Up Ready, making them even worse IMO. No more walking/riding beans for Jr. High kids in the Midwest! It was good money for us back in the day.

I’ve always liked both, but roasting them (olive oil drizzled on the sprouts) took it to the next level...yum!

I’m going to try that...combining the two and adding the crumbled cheese at the end. Maybe maytag?

Another great broiling addition is siracha (?) sauce. A bit spicy - I'm thinking the cheese might be better 😉

We make our own hot sauce from hot peppers grown in the garden, BUT we just happen to have a fresh bottle of Sriracha on hand...I’ll pass that advice on to the cook. (Sriracha is one of the best ‘mainstream’ hot sauces available...great on scrambled eggs.)
