It’s hard enough to get me on a sloped roof in July let alone with 3 feet of snow on it......

I noticed they don’t give a name or even the age of this man. Today when someone passes up a chance to get their name and face ‘out there’ we are somewhat surprised, even suspicious. Some folks still do want to remain anonymous.
He is very lucky this didn’t last much longer.

wonderful little town.
Just turn to the south at Powder Mill Pond and stop when halfway to Jaffrey.

He was on TV last night...maybe about 50.

Having had to do this in Minnesota a time or two, I’d say he’s lucky! There is a technique to it for sure!

Correct, as PJ O’Rouke(a native of Sharon, NH) called it “Blatherborough”.
Oscar Wilde called it in “Our Town”:
“A nice town to live in”.

Its really a town full of libs.
And this guy should read up on why people put metal roofs on.
Hint: the snow slides off all by its self.

I’ve seen five foot drifts during several winters but no one alive was buried.

Many haven’t taken the hint...it is breathtaking to see how many apartment buildings in soviet Red Hampshire have a flat roof...most of those with a steep pitch or metal roof aren’t having problems. Those with a flat roof have seen a number of cave-ins from the heavy weight of the snow.

Depending upon the ambient temperature where he was buried with snow, it may have helped save him. Snow can be insulating. Apparently he could breathe or he wouldn’t still be with us.
