The guy who 'fixed' Tim Tebow says Tebow spent 18 months relearning how to play quarterback

Even though Tim Tebow left Philadelphia without a contract offer from the Eagles after a workout on Monday, momentum seems to be building for a Tebow comeback attempt.

The 27-year-old quarterback hasn't played in the NFL since 2013, when the New England Patriots cut him before the regular season.

In the 18 months since, Tebow went on to work for ESPN as a college football commentator. But behind the scenes he has been working with Tom House, a California-based quarterback guru who has worked with Tom Brady.

House told Fox Sports' Bruce Feldman that he believed he "fixed" Tebow's throwing motion.

In an interview with Mike Tanier of Bleacher Report, House went into more detail about what exactly he meant.

And he should continue to channel that in areas where he's good at.

So you are now the ultimate judge of Tebow's talents and he should listen to you?

Tebow is doing just what he should be doing and let the results pan out.

History is filled with successful people who ignored the naysayers who told them to give it up.........

Tebow has been rejected by 5 coaches. Any of us saying he can’t do the job aren’t judging, we’re collating the data. What he should be doing is either putting it behind him and enjoying his role as a commentator on ESPN or building from scratch and be willing to take a non-NFL possibly non-QB job. Those successful people didn’t ignore the naysayers, they took the time to understand why they were rejected and fixed it. If he’d spent these last few years playing in the AFL he might have actually developed the skills and could have gotten the Eagles job. If he’d spent them being willing to be an RB with some gadget plays he’d probably be in the NFL right now. But he wants the top or nothing, and the data is out there, he lacks the skills for the top, so he gets nothing.

Who cares other than you and the other haters, Tebow is doing what he can to get back into the NFL and based on his heart, desire, motivation and definite improvement, he's going to prove you guys wrong........

If not, then you haters can all pat yourselves on the back and revel in the fact that a true athlete in both mind and faith never made it........That should make you happy.

No, he should listen to some of the best coaches in pro football who have all looked at his talents and found them wanting.

History is filled with successful people who ignored the naysayers who told them to give it up........

There is an old joke about the guy who stays in his house during a flood. The water is rising and a four wheel drive and a boat and a helicopter in turn come to help him. He turns them all down, telling them that God will provide. Well he drowns and winds up face to face with God and asks "What happened?" God replies, "I sent you a truck and a boat and a helicopter. What more did you want?" Well God sent Tebow the Broncos, the Jets, and the Patriots and he's still out of football. Maybe God was sending him a message? And maybe he's tempting fate by not realizing that he just isn't cut out for pro ball?

Way to skip the info and go straight for the silly. I’m not a hater, he’s a nice guy, but he lacks the skills.

No he is NOT doing what he can to get back into the NFL. If he was doing that he’d follow the Warner route and play in the AFL. Or the Floutie/ Moon route and play in the CFL. Or the Stewart route and take a non-QB job in the NFL.

I don’t hate him, if there’s anybody in this I do hate it’s the cultists who can’t seem to understand that some guys just don’t have what it takes. You’re the crowd that keeps him deluded, kept him from fixing his playing style in college when it was first pointed out he lacked the skills necessary to make it in the NFL. If he’d spent more time listening to the supposed haters he might actually be in the league right now. Remember that the next time you insist a simple objective criticism is “hate”, sometimes the truth hurts, and pointing it out isn’t hate, lying is much more hateful. And every time you insist he has what it takes after FIVE NFL coaches have rejected him you’re lying, to yourself and to him. Believing people like you is why he’s not in the NFL.

And if he does that you can take great satisfaction in telling us we were wrong. But if he flops, again, then what?

If not, then you haters can all pat yourselves on the back and revel in the fact that a true athlete in both mind and faith never made it........That should make you happy.

Tebow is a far, far better Christian than he is a quarterback. That's not gloating. That's not hate. That's a simple matter of fact. You want to make it into a bigotry thing when it is a talent thing, pure and simple. Where are you any different from the protesters in Ferguson?

Oh really? How do you fix a Heisman Trophy college quarterback's style while he's winning in college?

Who's going to fix a college kid other than the college coach he's playing for ?

Nobody keeps Tebow deluded, it's his own belief in himself and his Faith.........

If he doesn't make it in the NFL at least it won't be due to giving up and listening to the voices of folks like you............

27 still gives Tebow enough time to get a QB job in the NFL.

It's not as if the NFL is teeming with superstar QBs.

Once you get past the top tier of QBs like Brady, Manning, Rodgers, and maybe a dozen others, you still have better than half the NFL teams that are searching for a reliable starter QB.

So there will be a lot of spots open for Tebow to compete for. I wish him luck.

I'm saying that you're blaming Tebow's situation on prejudice and not on his own shortcomings. The Ferguson crowd blame Brown's fate on racism and not his own actions. So both of you are looking for excuses to blame things on and not the facts.

Get lost you loser...any further conversation with you is a waste of time..........Sheesh!

Truth hurts.

Teach him to actually throw a decent spiral. Teach him to actually read a defense pre-snap. It’s not like the flaws in his game were some great mystery, every scout discussed it, but Tim had his crowd of worshipers around him saying “don’t listen to them, you’re winning games, they just hate you”. Some people don’t understand that you can criticize somebody and not hate them. Even with all his success I’m sure his high school and college coaches would have enjoyed coaching him more if somebody other than God knew where his passes were going to land. He was really good at the college level on pure athleticism, he could have been great if he’d have learned some basic QB skills, he’d be in the NFL right now if he had.

Belief in yourself has to be tempered by reality. And reality is Tim lacks the core physical and mental skills. He’s a lot like those folks in the first couple of episodes of American Idol every season, the folks who think they’re great, they believe in themselves, they’ve got faith, but the reality is they can’t carry a tune in a bucket.

He hasn’t made it in the NFL. And it’s because he listened to people like you. He never bothered to develop the basic skills. He’s unwilling to settle for something lower than the top rung of the ladder. If he’d have actually taken some criticism he could have addressed the problems. He could have been Trent Dilfer, a guys who is still to this day very upfront about the fact that he was never that great a QB, but he put in the study time, and he worked his skills, and he had a career, and he’s considered the worst QB to ever win a Super Bowl but he won it. But instead Tim only listened to his cheer squad, and so he came out Matt Leinart, just another Heisman winner without the talent or will to make it in the NFL.

Possible, but it’s remarkable how many of the talking heads who purport to know something about football were quicker to condemn Tebow for celebrating his Creator than for football. Even after wins.

I notice you capitalized “faith.” Tell me something.
If Tebow were an atheist, would you still be going on about his greatness?

If Tebow were an atheist,

If Tebow's aunt had testicles, would she have had more influence as an uncle on his decision to attempt to make it into the NFL via his past two years of training?

Got it. This is a religious thing for you. Tim’s football expertise is not relevant.
