The Ohio legislature recently outlawed speed and red light enforcement cameras unless a police officer is located there to witness the offense. I don't know if the cop will have to catch the offender and write the ticket or if he will just confirm the video to mail the ticket. Dayton and Springfield are both suing to have the law overturned.

Baltimore County MD also required an officer review each ticket. A few thousand tickets were refunded when it as revealed that the officer in question had been dead for 6 months Is the speeder guilty?
