FALL RIVER, Mass. (AP) - Former New England Patriots player Aaron Hernandez has been found guilty of first-degree murder. He has been sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
A Massachusetts jury on Wednesday found Hernandez killed Odin Lloyd on June 17, 2013. Lloyd was dating the sister of Hernandez's fiancee. He was found shot six times in an industrial park less than a mile from Hernandez's home.
At the time, Hernandez had a $40 million contract with the Patriots.
Hernandez's lawyer acknowledged during closing arguments that he was there when Lloyd was killed. But he pinned the shooting on Hernandez's two friends, saying his client was a 23-year-old kid who didn't know what to do.
Prosecutors said Hernandez planned the killing and then helped cover it up

NFL tough and prison tough ain’t the same. Whoever runs things now might not like the idea of someone coming in wanting his respect.
Don’t kid yourself.... all the sissies in that prison will cruise his cell on a regular basis. He won’t want for sex; albeit perverted sex.
Hernandez is long time gang-banger tough and I'm sure he would be accepeted into the prison gang with open arms. That's how he rolls and its the environment he's most comfortable in.
In most states,yes.In Massachusets he'll get a pardon when the next Rat is elected Governor...which will be in 3 years.
He’ll be out in less than 20 years for “good behavior” or “overpopulation”.

The media is going to have a hard time with this one. For one thing, he is a hispanic man killing a black man, therefore he should be labeled “white”. On the other hand, he is being jailed for life, therefore he cannot be considered white (since whites are rarely prosecuted for any crime, and certainly not for crimes against blacks), and must count towards tally of minorities held in prison by the evil white man. This makes him “hispanic”.
It should be interesting to see this play out, but I think they will punt, and simply label him a former football player.

He should talk to Hillary. In both their cases, and with all their privileges, possibly related is the clinically proportioned degree of entitlement and narcissism.

It ain’t about what *he’s*_comfortable with. He’s never done time,, and never shown anyone any respect. It wont be as smooth as you think.
