WalMart closings alert!
vanity | 4-16-2015 | chuckles

Posted on 04/15/2015 10:19:20 PM PDT by chuckles

I live in East Texas and our WalMart closed due to "plumbing" problems. All employees are fired. closed for at least 6 months.

Come to find out, several more closed across America due to "plumbing" problems and all employees fired.

Googled closed Walmart and got several different theories. One says they need to close some to pay for the huge raise they gave the rest of the workers. One says it's for holding illegals crossing the border. Another says it for American that don't want Obama's 3rd term.

Second observation today,.....A military jet fuel truck came into my small East Texas town today and ended up out at the airport. We have no jets,.....yet. The next open Walmart says they have plumbing problems, but as of yet it's still open.If they close it, we have no place to get food for this many people unless the Brookshire Brothers doubles in size.

This just came about today, so that's all I have as thin as it is, but I know the preppers in my church are getting nervous.

Does anybody out there know anything I need to know?

Texas is a "Right to Work" state. I don't think it would be a union problem. The store that closed near to me was busy ALL the time. It could have lines at checkout at 3am. By closing, they are losing big money. It was by no means, a marginal store. besides, why not just say, "They were marginal stores and we closed them."It's not plumbing, it's not unions, it's not a marginal store. It was suggested that the $1 an hour raise for everyone could be paid for by closing these stores for 6 mo. but I can assure you they would lose more than they gained.

I'm still leaning for a government reason, like storing illegals or storing dissidents. There isn't a whole lot more reasons they would chose to lose money like this. I'm also hearing the gubmint paid them a $billion to do this.If you start to see the stores empty the shelving and haul it off, we know it's not plumbing. Obama just has a year and a half to get done whatever he has to get done. I don't think whatever is done with the store will make the residents happy here. Livingston is too big to do without the Walmart.

chuck, I live near Livingston. I can’t believe they’d close unless they had a real real good reason. It sure wouldn’t be for lack of sales.

Wal-Mart closes six stores out of thousands and all of a sudden it massive coverup...?

I guess this makes more sense...

I have it on good notice from my secret government source that FEMA is going to buy all super WM and use them for FEMA camps staging areas...

If I tell who my source is I’d have to kill you...

Michele would very unhappy...if I spilled the beans...

chuck, with all the weapons around here I seriously doubt it’s closed to house illegals or dissidents, although I hear there is a new illegal spring offensive coming in from the south. I do think though there would be true dissent from the locals though if either were true. Speaking of Livingston of course.

I would think this kind of repair required tearing up the concrete floor. With six stores closing at one time it sounds to me like they hired the same plumbing contractor that didn’t use the right pipes. OR, being a fan of importing Chinese junk they used pipes from China that are contaminated with some terrible chemical they are keeping under wraps to avoid lawsuits. They’ll have to clear all the shelving, cut the floor up, make the plumbing repairs, replace the floor, then restock all the shelves. I could see that taking 6 months.

You have that tin foil wrapped way to tight around your head, it’s cutting off the blood flow.

I'm not buying that, mind you, but it would be good to know when the affected stores were built and the contractors involved.

The number of stores closing has risen to eight. What I find most interesting is that they laid everyone off and closed the stores without offloading any merchandise. The stranded inventory must be worth millions.

The closed stores are just a diversion. The real story is that all Wal-marts stopped selling tin foil becuase their FEMA masters don’t want us to be protected from the Orbital Mind Control Lasers!

I think the theory that it’s a pretext to avoid notification requirements is probably the most likely. There must be a lot of marginal stores out of 4500. They can close the marginal stores to stop losing money, and send a message to politicians and employees: if you push us, we can leave.

With their business model, Wal*Mart must have thin margins, it wouldn’t take much to push them into unprofitability in many of their stores.

Or it could be union busting.

Except there is no evidence that any union organizing was going on in those stores. So the message would be lost on those who are losing their jobs.

Stop and think for about the stated reason for a minute. Clearly, you need plumbing to operate to stay open for business, That said, plumbing is strategically located along the outer parameter of the building and, furthermore, confined, square footing wise to a relatively small part of the larger building. Essentially, you have the food concessions and the bathrooms and little else. Realistically, even embedded in concrete this entire plumbing replacement would not take 6 months if the permits were strategically obtained in advance which they should have been. No permits having been issued by the country means something is very fishy with this story.

I can't believe that. Because if that were so, some smart lawyer would file a lawsuit. And then WalMart would have to try to cover its tracks. They'd have to convince lots of managers to lie under oath, plus provide all sorts of "plumbing" evidence. That would be way too difficult, and very risky.

That makes no sense since some of the stores appear to be high volume, vital sales centers in some communities.
