$100 million? That is insane. Rosie had her moment in the sun and I would have guessed she was pretty well set with something in the low seven figures, but $100 million is nuts.

I think this kind of thing is a major driver of the class warfare mentality. Conservatives instinctively think of the wealthy as people who have earned their pile through high achievement in business or the professions. We rarely resent this. Liberals look at the Rosies of the world and instinctively think that wealth is unearned and mainly a matter of luck.

Well, I always said the cure for gay marriage will be gay divorce. When this community of highly promiscuous and "anything goes" people makes a commitment like marriage, it's bound to end poorly in many, even most cases. But now instead of just saying "I'm out" their partner gets to say "I'll take half! And monthly payments forever too!"

I'm thinking this scenario will be the antidote to self-gratifying feel good symbolic gay marriages.
