Get caught feeding your baby expired baby food and you wont have your baby for long...CPS would be all over that in a heart beat. Well, lookit that! Me & Crim agree on something.
It's all about the money, and if CPS can see a hook, they'll be on it like stink on obama...

I’m not aware of them doing that, or of it being a law.

I guess you guys are just venting, but the first post sounded close to being a claim of fact.

I guess you guys are just venting, but the first post sounded close to being a claim of fact. I'm sure that there are plenty of freepers that could give you anecdotal evidence that you don't want CPS to see something like that.
Come on, ansel - you didn't just fall off the turnip truck. You know that once a gruberment bureaucrat has their foot in the door, it ain't coming out until you "show them the money", in this instance, State control of the child.
I'm not venting, just a cynical realist.

You cant just make up things. I think it's common knowledge that CPS does not always have the child's best interest at heart.
Their best interest, including their bottom line? Certainly.
The rule of thumb is to dummy up in the presence of gruberment drones. Anything you say can and will be used against you is not just a Miranda warning...

I was a meat cutter for 25 years in supermarkets. I buy out of code meats all the time. If its cryovaced and out of code its still good. Bacon will last for a few months in the fridge. If ground beef doesn't look "bright",don't buy it. It's regrinds. Just hold a piece of meat right up to your nose and smell, there will be no doubt in your mind if its bad.
