I'm pretty sure this was posted a couple of years ago, but with Baltimore and Ferguson recently in the news (and in flames), it is worth another look. Steven Crowder's "Detroit in Ruins" is (IMO) a well done piece on Detroit's fall from grace under liberal influence, put in power by the UAW.
I'm not sure why we're flooding ourselves with illegals when there's nothing for them to do when they get here.
Besides signing up for food stamps and welfare and registering as DemocRATS, I mean.

OUTSTANDING work by SC. Thanks for posting. Even today, if you shot video of every burned-out, run-down home/business in Detroit, it would take hours upon hours to view and would look much worse than that which Crowder has presented.

When Detroit was a bustling working man’s town it musta been great. Predominantly white.
Now its nearly all black, nearly all welfare.
The white workers moving out coincided perfectly with the black welfares moving in.
And the rate that the place went to hell equally coincided with this.
...as has happened in every urban cesspool. Tell the truth.
Obviously the solution is to raise the minimum wage. How can anyone expect a city to survive when tens of thousands of people have to subsist on a measly 74 dollars an hour?
Well, the black white correlation is obvious, but there’s also another factor—the decline of US auto industry relative to Japan’s due to underinvestment, which was the price for paying off the unions to get short-term labor peace. The unions were aided and abetted by US government policy, of course.
Trying to make these LIBERALS, SOCIALISTS and COMMUNISTS that all their plans, to make a better world, is a complete failure, would be like putting an angle worm up a wild cat’s ass. It will never happen. All they’ll say is that their ides will work, if only they can “TWEEK” it here and “TWEEK” it there. And, besides, when a city, county, state collapses, they’ll be out of the picture. It takes many years for any of their plans to collapse, and by that time they’re all gone, collecting their retirement money. The people that fell for their “IDEAS” will be the ones to get it in the shorts.
The Voters have figured this out already by throwing out Liberals by the Bus load ,we’ll see what happens when the GOP leadership gets the word ,LOL

How come Windsor, ON, at the same latitude and only across a river, run by socialists for 50+ years and where the Autoworkers Union split from the UAW because the UAW was giving too many concessions to management is thriving?

I agree. Other liberal cities, such as Seattle, San Francisco, etc., have their problems, but they’re not as bad off as Detroit, because they don’t have as many blacks.
Of course. Detroit + "liberals"...the black element is implied, but plenty of brainwashed white UAW voters also share in the responsibility for keeping dems in power.
But the "Dems" are in power across the river, kept there by brainwashed CAW voters, and everything is fine. Quite nice, in fact. Ditto Portland, ME, Burlington, VT, and so on.
