U.S. students ranked 25th among 34 countries in math and science, behind nations like China, Singapore, South Korea, Hong Kong and Finland. That was in 2009. It's gotten worse.

We have 3 daughters within 2, 4, and 15 minutes of us. There are times when one text to all 3 saves 3 separate phone calls.
There can be a challenge after that, however, and that is after the ‘cluster text,’ I may need to then answer all 3 separately because of their questions . . .

I have three siblings in the other three corners of the country. When my mom was in the hospital I was able to text them updates throughout the day. It meant I did not have to interrupt their precious schedules or take any time away from them, while I spent 20 hours a day sitting with mom.
It meant that I did not have to talk to the lazy jerks.
My point is that it doesn’t need to be rectangular...

Have you ever worked for a city? Hard as heck to get fired from one and they don’t do layoffs. Even guys that have been caught surfing inappropriate websites merely get reassigned. That’s what I meant.

No, I think that people want rectangular pics and flicks. Sensor area and installation space is too expensive to waste. Don’t see it happening.
OTOH, holding the phone horizontally seems to not happen when people are in a hurry and/or in cramped spaces. I can understand that.
You can always take that ‘portrait’ capture and edit it to ‘landscape’ if it’s too upsetting.
