After I posted, I did consider that. What about personal responsibility? What a waste. All that to get the son raised and into college —and then he does that!!
This is why, after seeing veterans in school in my day, I've held that the best thing a high school graduate can do is fulfill his/her time in the service before assuming further schooling.
