Good, people have the right of self-defense (espcially when police chiefs and sheriffs advise they cannot respond fast enough to protect us).
But of course, no permits are really supposed to be required at all! (...’the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed...” US Constitution)
I guess every step forward is to be celebrated as a step forward!
In 1st Infantry Division parlance, “a step towards Rome is a step towards home”.
