I would end the Federal government’s ability to borrow money via Constitutional amendment. It’s the one change Thomas Jefferson said he would change in the Constitution if he could go back and change it.

This would simultaneously limit the Federal government’s size and control, end entitlements, and force spending priorities, thereby making very clear choices available to the voters. The only way to increase spending would be to increase taxes and reap the resultant political consequences.

I’d like to get rid of “Me-Firsters” leaving their car at the curb in the neighborhood mall while they run in and pick up or drop off their laundry, or get a prescription filled, or buy “a few things” etc. I can’t stand that they think it’s OK to sh*t on the other 99% of us that try to be courteous and abide by the rules. BTW, a large number of them seem to have Obambi stickers on the bumper.
