1. Anything good is bad for you.
2. Everything this group trots out to shock the public later turns out to be made up.
3. They’ll eat it; they want you to eat the Moose’s menu.
Eat! Enjoy!
I guess I know what I’m doing this weekend...
Me, too. I see a whole lotta good eating on this list.
I’d worry more about employees tampering with your food.
rule #1 for eating healthy .... Don’t eat out.
Not an IHOP within 30 miles, and now you’ve given me a crushing craving for that chorizo omelette.
They all looked pretty tasty to me.
But still more healthy that the Sierra Leone special of the day
That's a whole day's worth of calories right there.
I've adopted a simple approach and it's helped me a lot to keep weight off, never eat more than 500 calories at one single meal. It's really not that hard to do, and if you have small meals throughout the day, it keeps you from going hungry.
“Center for Science in the Public Interest” can be better known as a bunch of busy bodies who want to be ‘nanny to the world’ and make folks eat what they think is good; and have no concept of ‘do in moderation.’
Let’s see how I do with the follow:
#1 Red Lobster - if I order it, I take home half. How often do I visit Red Lobster, perhaps 2-3 times a year, thus my intake of the calorie load is extremely rare.
#2 Steak and Shake - I visit it maybe 10-12 times a year, I’ve never had and wouldn’t order the 7Xsteakburger; I’m happy with a normal double and fries; or I’ll have a breakfast there, depending upon when I stop on a business trip.
#4 Outback Prime Rib - I visit there 2-3 times a year. A 16-0z prime rib means at least half goes home with me for a 2nd meal and I get veggies instead of potato, thus I don’t have the “fearful” calorie count at one meal. Yes, when I was a very active young soldier I would have had the meal as described, if I could have afforded it and, besides, Outback didn’t exist then.
All of the others, I’ve either never visited them or that doesn’t interest me. The folks who made this list are ‘scare mongers’.
Your body turns everything you eat into a sugar-anyway ,so what’s the difference what you eat ,LOL
My mouth is watering for that 7x7 Steakburger at Steak & Shake:
Recently, the “settled science” on saturated fat, salt and cholesterol in the diet has all been refuted.
So, this list is BOGUS.
Just like Global Warming, I mean Climate Change.
I’m just opening this thread for the pictures ... proabaly 1000 calories in just doing that! Mmm good.
Eliminate the buns and the fries, and you got a perfect Atkins’-Friendly meal right there.
My wife makes a delicious apple crisp. But I don’t usually put all that stuff on top of it.
Good, healthy, local apples.
My mother always said, “An apple a day keeps the doctor away.”
