I remember when “Gentle on My Mind’’ was new and being played all over the AM radio. That was a long time ago. It was a different America, a different time and place. A time of optimism, an unhurried time, of innocence even. And some really great music. The America of Glenn Campbells heyday has vanished. I miss those days..... I miss them so much.
