Donald Trump: I Would Be the Jobs President (One more day...)
Fox Business ^ | June 03, 2015 | By Matthew Kazin

Donald Trump, who is expected to announce his intentions for 2016 later this month, said if he were president, he would work to recreate a prospering America.

“I would be the jobs president, and I also think I’d be the best security president,” Trump told FBN’s Neil Cavuto on Wednesday. “Nothing’s easy, but I know how to make this country great again. I know how to make our country rich again, which we have to do in order to make it great.”

I am not up on everything he says, but he has majored in improving trade deals. He says the United States is being taken to the cleaners by China, etc.

I think Obloviate is having Trump on tomorrow night at 8:00PM and then I assume he will be on Hannity at 10:00PM. Trump will shake things up which is sorely needed.

Is this the interview (CNN)?

Pressed why he feels Bush deserved the punishment faced by only two other commanders-in-chief, Trump said the president misled the country in the run-up to the Iraq war, and that his actions were considerably more objectionable than those which led to the impeachment of former President Bill Clinton.

“He lied. He got us into the war with lies,” Trump said. And I mean - look at the trouble Bill Clinton got into with something that was totally unimportant. And they tried to impeach him, which was nonsense. And yet Bush got us into this horrible war with lies, by lying, by saying they had weapons of mass destruction, by saying all sorts of things that turned out not to be true.”

He also said in another interview that George Bush gave us the disaster that is Obama. I agree. Part of that is because no matter what was said about him, he never opened his mouth to refute it. Silence can be assent. By the way, Jeb! is also distancing himself from his brother. Even lost his surname.

“he “Obama” had done an amazing job.”

My You tube installer is down so I couldn’t watch it. Comment section said he was referring to Obama getting himself elected. I googled the topic, and could only find the where he expressed the opposite sentiment of Obama doing an amazing job.

“Trump was then asked if he ever thought he would see an African-American president in his lifetime. “They always said 100 years before a black man or woman could be elected president. And the 100 years turned out to be, like, one year. He’s done an amazing job,” said Trump.”

He was in fact talking about the job of getting elected. He had previously stated he COULD be a great president.

"While he had harsh words for the outgoing president, he had a much different opinion of President-elect Barack Obama. "I think he has a chance to go down as a great president. Now, if he's not a great president, this country is in serious trouble," said Trump. "I think [Obama's] going to lead through consensus," continued Trump. "It's not going to be just a bull run like Bush did. He just did whatever the hell he wanted. He'd go into a country, attack Iraq, which had nothing to do with the World Trade Center and just do it because he wanted to do it."

You can try, but it's really not possible to whitewash what this clown has said in the past.

He has identified himself as a Democrat. Is there anything in the above quote that sounds like a conservative to you?

Again...he called Bush "evil." That's EXACTLY the lunatic label placed on Bush by the far left.

Trump has said some really dumb things in the past, true. My car broke down a year ago but it is fine now. But since it broke down a year ago I should never trust it, heck I should sell it right?

No, because the comparison isn't valid. Your car is an inanimate object. A part goes bad and gets replaced.

Trump, on the other hand, is a person with a history of bloviation, of all talk and little action. He has repeatedly revealed that he is a liberal and a Democrat. His views and positions are that of a liberal. See my post # 39.

He flip-flops when it's convenient, and he knows the right things to say in front of Tea Party groups that want to believe his bluster.

Still waiting for those Obama BC results, by the way...

Well, since George W refused to defend himself, and since his brother Jeb! refuses to defend him and is denying his name, then I will not defend him. “I think Obama is going to lead through consensus,” Trump said. Now, I knew Obama was a leftist idiot when he ran and won, but I also never dreamed he would AVOID any consensus whatsoever.

However, your attitude toward Trump and his comments on Obama he made six years ago would make one think that Trump voted for the Obama agenda over TPA, or he voted for the Obama agenda when he voted for the Iranian nuclear weapon/ICBM armament bill, or he supported the Obama agenda when he called for a five-fold increase in H-1B visas, and called for more legal immigration and legal status for illegal immigrants.

Peace.

I think Trump will say things that need saying. I will wait and see. It doesn’t bother me he is running because I feel the entire R field is a bunch of clowns. Why not make Trump the ring master.

I'm not in the business of defending Bush, but I will point it out when a liberal like Trump parrots the party line, while pretending at conservatism.

LOL, can't get Cruz off the brain, can you? It's always been about him for you, ever since you showed up with your Cruz birtherism.

The P.T. Barnum of NYC is a tailor-made fit for your kind.

Well, because the starring clown can't double as ringmaster; he's too busy with his broad comedy schtick.

“The P.T. Barnum of NYC is a tailor-made fit for your kind.”

Typical name calling response from a Cruz supporter. I’ve yet seen one refute what I say. Just name calling. That sort of illogic and denial evidently comforts YOUR kind. By the way, I mentioned Cruz only because I know exactly where you are coming from. You compulsively have to diminish every other candidate in order to justify sipping the Cruz kool aid.

Really? That presents a departure from your usual behavior. You've been yapping about Cruz and his (in your mind) ineligibility since you got here.

“.. since you got here.”???

I’ve been posting on this site for over four years, and in all my posting about Cruz, and it has been extensive here lately and only started lately, probably all my posts on his ineligibility can be counted on one hand, and still have some fingers left over. It is his votes that frosted me.

I believe Trump would be a nanny-state president. For instance, when he said he might run for governor in NY State, he said he would not run if there were a Republican primary. How dare he deny me of my right to vote in the GOP primary?!

Donald Trump is a control freak.

Trump is also a money freak. Nothing wrong with wanting to make money but I think he observes the grifter Clintons raking in multimillions for doing nothing and he wants to do the same at some future point. His real motivation is money money money and the Constitution would be a secondary concern.

“Trump is also a money freak. ....”

And he’s AGAIN USING the American people to make more money, while making a joke out of the presidential candidate campaign process.

This is free advertising for Trump. How many times are Republicans going to be duped by this man?
