"... but if I cop did this to my dog I would kill him..."

And I hope I get on that jury.

Not guilty!

Actually, the Supreme court has ruled that a police officer, in public, while carrying out his duties, has no expectation of privacy and can be recorded in public at any time.

“And, Officer, since I couldn’t be sure who he might shoot next, I had to protect my family, ......”

Because the other cops would immediately unload their weapons in to your body you would never get to express your fear.

“Seven is a menace to society but her dog is a gentle, funny delight.”

I have heard that dogs often end up taking on the personality of their owners....

Oh, wait, is that why Buford is turning into a stubborn A-hole?

Darnit...

Precisely.

LOL

She’s not really *that* bad.
[but I do envy Mom’s girl and her gentle demeanor with other dogs]

Like most of the female Dobes, she is *really* on her game about making sure the perimeters are safe.

That’s all.

Oh, wait.
That *is* like me.

:)

A presumably adult human being is responsible for their actions regardless of training.
the SS and the KGB were also following their training- an excuse so far beyond lame as to be criminal.

I know it isn’t right, I know it isn’t equivalent, but if I cop did this to my dog I would kill him.

They're coming after commentors now. Just be careful:

If I have weapon in hand and the dog killing cop is the only other one with gun in hand, I’ll take my chances on clearing the room.

Agreed; my dogs are my family, you hurt them, I hurt you a lot worse.
Their Response: We will arrest you, convict you of murder and put you on Death Row.
My Response: Big f#ckin deal; 3 hots and a cot, and I would be dead of old age before all the appeals were exhausted.
Any police officer who is that afraid of a dog, is not mentally or emotionally fit to be in charge of protecting the public.

A Cleveland family has been left devastated after an officer shot and killed their beloved one-year-old golden retriever as he was on a leash in the family’s backyard.

...

Dogs shouldn’t be tethered.
