That’s why my tag says I’m against ‘big government enablers’ - all of those powers used to spy on Americans will be used against us. And who do you think the police will fight for? Conservatives, or the government that gives them their paycheck and pension? From what I see, the policing powers just do what they’re told - and if someone doesn’t cater to gays, sorry, we’ll have to seize your house or business to pay the fine.
Being pro bigger FedGov is nuts. That’s why reducing the police-state power of the FedGov is so important. That is why I am for liberty first, and security is a very distant second.

I use to argue civil unions for all. Not just homos but EVERYONE.
Then if religious folks wanted to have a ceremony at their church they were free to do so.
This would have avoided a big part of the civil rights issue.
Although, i suspecty the would have still went after the church for refusing a ceremony for a couple of homos.
The US Postal Service will refuse to deliver any mail or packages for organizations that don’t fully embrace the gay agenda. This includes churches and Bible publishers. Companies will refuse to print “anti-gay” materials, including Bibles, and other companies like Apple and Google will refuse to allow any similar materials on their app stores or websites. All public schools will be mandated to change all materials that have any mention of marriage to remove any reference to “husbands” and “wives.” In fact, the very words “husband” and “wife” will likely be banned in any official government communications.
What about the financial aspect...can i marry my 80 yr old Aunt Ida in order to get her social security when she passes? Not only perverse, but I can imagine there is money to be made in false unions too
Not much of this will actually happen, instead the country will just continue its slide into secularism. The US is becoming more like socialist Europe, and these chaotic things aren’t happening there.
