Cruz: Trump Doesn’t Need to Take Back Comments About Mexican Illegals (Fox News, from Breitbart)

GOP presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) 96% stood up for fellow GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump on Fox and Friends Tuesday morning.

“When it comes to Donald Trump, I like Donald Trump. I think he’s terrific, I think he’s brash, I think he speaks the truth. and I think NBC is engaging in political correctness that is silly and that is wrong. I don’t think you should apologize for speaking out about the problem that is illegal immigration,” Cruz said.

Cruz joined Fox News to discuss his new book, but was asked about Trump’s comments about illegal immigration, made at his formal announcement speech.

Trump / Cruz

Cruz / Trump

The two are very much, on the same wavelength.

The two are very much, on the same wavelength.

But one is a serious candidate with national stature and a good chance at the Republican nomination and the other is Donald Trump.

Cruz’s rating with Conservative review is 96%. Maybe that’s it. Glad to see he is sticking up for the truth. Cruz and Trump seem to be the only two who have a realistic view of the illegal immigration situation.

Saw where Rubio reaffirmed his support for amnesty. He, like his mentor, Bush, just don’t get how much that offends Americans and legal immigrants.

That was from a link to a rating on conservativereview.com, for whatever that's worth.

With our economy the way it is, and with the WOT STILL not resolved... the US doesn't need to accept any immigrants and so, should declare a moratorium on all that.

When things improve... THEN we can re-open our country to immigration. This ought to include ALL and not JUST Mexican immigrants.

I heard Whorealdo on Fox last night, saying how he urged Trump to apologize to the Latino community or it could do irreparable harm to the Republicans. BTW, did he ever find Al Capone’s safe?

“...it could do irreparable harm to the Republicans.”

We all know that he is concerned for the success of Republicans.

I wrote to Cruz’s campaign to ask that he review his position on the H1-B visa program. If even one American loses their job, that’s too many.

I’ll be honest and say I am for mass deportations. The idea that we can’t do that is ridiculous. If we did it under Eisenhower, when logistics were much more difficult than now, we can certainly do it today.

Just throwing this out there but I’d stand up and applaud a block of wood if it would deal with the other scourge invading our country and world: Islam and Muslims.

Who will be first to RIP OPEN this can of worms?

One at least has a record we can judge on the other is a leap of faith.

Besides being right, Cruz and Trump are willing to fight. The reasons the GOP gets rolled daily is because they won’t, they just want to move along.

Geraldo was disgusting in his praise for jeb announcing his candidacy in Spanish

The superiority he grabs for Latinos is not in keeping with the American intent in my view.

In Mexico one of the oldest newspaper El Excelsior published five days ago, that illegal immigrants from Colombia, are the leaders in the arrests of those that commit crimes based on arrest statistics . Trump did the same, what is the difference? Like Trump said here is not political correct but in Mexico it is correct.

Trump would make a great VP—he can fire people, take on the media, Visit countries and attend funerals. He could be a great right hand to Cruz in his international deal making. Cruz and Trump could play the game of “Good Cop, Bad Cop” Cruz could make Trump the “Border Czar” and wall maker. A Trump in the VP’s Gray House mansion—would keep liberals from trying to impeach Cruz!
