Nah.
They’re humorously taken entirely out of context.
“- Batman #84 (June, 1954)”
The day Robin stopped being Robin and became Batbuttie?
Hopefully, the ones at the supermarket are reprints from the golden years. It’s a real shame that someone would want to take something so wholesome and American and destroy it. But, maybe the kids still have the classics to enjoy.
Thank you.
They’re not the full comic book size; they’re the size of a Readers Digest. They’re in full color. The artwork is really impressive. I can’t tell any difference from the old ones (except maybe the size).
That Depends

It could get worse but I’ll spare you the grief and my horrible writing.
Lol! The truth is as weird, if not weirder!
“In Life with Archie, Kevin Keller is a married military veteran and newly elected senator whos pushing for more gun control in Riverdale after his husband was involved in a shooting.”
Oh, boy. Now I’m going to waste time trying to imagine them. LOL
There are probably certain editions that deal more with social issues. Again, there are various sub-series, such as Life With Archie, Archie & Me, Betty & Me, Betty & Veronica, etc...
“t could get worse but Ill spare you the grief and my horrible writing.”
LOL. Are you kidding? Continue. It’s hilarious, AND informative.
I might be back later tonight. My computer at home works when it wants to.
Sort of like today’s kids (Mine do work. I consider the March 20, 2003 invasion of Iraq to be work too, as my son got to be one of the first American soldiers to cross the border. I just had to put that in since so many sons of liberals sat on their sorry asses and did nothing for freedom but live off their parents like the sorry parasites that they are).
Ego moment. When I’m on a roll, I make John Belushi seem like a rank amateur. I know that the Germans didn’t attack Pearl Harbor. They were anti-Semitic so they attacked Pearl Cohen.
Gotta bing, gotta go!
That kind of vocabulary is what you learn in liberal arts departments, principally from homoexual Freudians who argue that gender is a matter of performance (and is different than “sex”). IOW, a woman is a woman because she is groomed to act like a woman. But it is “culturally constructed,” and thus not “natural.”
You have to really be indoctrinated by these obscure “scholarly” articles by homosexuals and Marxists to really get the full range of vocabulary they use. I remember in my own English courses, they’d put videos of these people giving lectures, and suddenly they’d break into stuff like “white racist capitalist patriarchy” out of freaking nowhere, like these ultra long phrases are common elements of their speech. They even slobber a little when they say it, like thinking about the “white racist capitalist patriarchy” makes them so angry.
A treasure quote from the comments section:
Kevin Herman 7 hours ago
No one wants to see Spider Man die of AIDs after his 899th sexual partner or Transgender Thor commit suicide because after he had his weenie amputated he is still depressed.
I truly think it’s time for all of us to kiss Hollywood goodbye. Not only Hollywood, but Broadway, Madison Avenue & the rest of our media culture (books, magazines, TV shows, internet, etc.). We complain over & over about the content, which lately seems to have drifted from liberal to rabidly decadent, but the fault is ours if we continue to support it.
While total avoidance is impossible, I have become super selective in my intake. Most of my activities at this point are either religious or professional. Fortunately I have little time for anything else, anyway.
My advice to everyone: stay very busy.

LOLOL.So true so true, about the kids of today...but hopefully not for the *rest* of earth’s calendar years.
And Kudos! to your son for his efforts & time served,AND for your raising him right.
Your list is great in prescribing to us some much needed humor during these dark hours. Keep up the creativity. lol.
LOL!! Believe it or not, I just now saw this! (nearly 4 years later!)
Stumbled on it while looking for pics I posted previously to post on a thread today (Mar 6, 2019).
