Last week, millions of Facebook users gave their profile pictures a rainbow makeover to celebrate the double Pride/Supreme Court same-sex marriage ruling but an unpleasant backlash has begun.
The translucent rainbow tool was laid on by Facebook itself, but a number of third-party apps are now offering an American flag equivalent to people opposed to gay marriage and equality in general.

“Homophobia” is a pejorative word cooked up to smear anyone who is straight. It is an attempt to capture the emotional response of the dreaded hydrophobia (rabies) and guide it against an opponent of homosexuality. It is akin to “climate denier” moniker used to capture and exploit the revulsion related to “Holocaust denier”.

“Gay” means “Happy and carefree”
“Tolerance” means “putting up with things you don’t agree with, or cause you pain”
“Hate” means “intense dislike” (not mere disagreement)
“Rainbow” is a prismatic atmospheric effect cause by the sun shining through water vapor, thus breaking up white light into the visible spectrum which consists of SEVEN colors, not SIX, and is mentioned in the Book of Genesis as symbolic of God’s Covenant with Noah.
Shut off a couple of years ago and I don’t miss it at all.
Why conceded that forum to the left? We should confront them on Facebook and everywhere else. We should not grant them any safe havens.
I object to the Orwellian doublespeak of these homophiles who would have a Rainbow be the symbol of the Hershey Highway.
I unfriended ANYONE who covered their profile picture with the queer flag on FB. Family and longtime friends included.

The first thing that needs to be corrected in all conversation is the word “homophobe”, which is Latin for homosexual-fear. The leftist homos coined this word to presuppose that normal people “fear” homos, hence their behavior toward them. The correct word would be homofoetebit, where “foetebit” simply means disgust.
Yes, I’ve observed that, too. “Homophobe” can only possibly mean what they want it to if people who give in to homoerotic temptations are called “homos”, but I think they regard that as a slur. (And even then, it would be one of those stupid illiterate constructions combining an English word with a Greek root.)
