China built a great wall thousands of years ago.
The only thing stopping us, is our political class.
Build it.
Now.
Its not that hard to build. The only problem for this Marxist administration is that it would work.
We build highways because we actually want to get from point A to point B.
How does the Uniparty satisfy the SEIU, US Chamber of Commerce and liberals/`moderate Republicans’: people who don’t make their own beds and mow their own yards, with cheap, easily cowed Mexican supplicants if an effective wall/fence is actually preventing the new pool boys, maids, landscaping and concrete and other slaves, speaking jibber-jabber, breaking other local and state laws, using ERs free and taking advantage of other social services intended for Americans, and living twelve to a two BR apartment or trailer ... highways allow illegals to make it as far as Fargo, Bangor or Seattle, but a good fence prevents them from coming here in violation of our laws and taking Americans’ jobs from them.
Go Trump!
Here is some info on the border fence going back to the mid 2000s.

What is so hard about building a border fence?
First you must want to keep someone / something in or out.
Second you must have the will to build the fence.
See, the congress critters in DC failed both points. That is why it is hard to build the border fence.
If we did not give the illegals “Benefits” or let them work in the USA, we would not need a fence.
If the little lady “Mexican” gave birth here in the USA, we should present her with a Mexican birth certificate and say have a good day after you pay for all your medical costs.
Rep King says that since he is from the construction background, he decided to figure out what it would cost to protect the border with a fence, a concrete wall, and a road. For 2 million per mile, he says he could make it happen and it would still be cheaper than the 6 million per mile we are spending right now in enforcement.

Steve King and Trump know construction costs. No one else in the field knows as much.
No. It is not as easy as building a highway and nothing like it. Now I am all for an improved fence, but there are so many ways in that throwing up a fence that will cost billions is not always the best use of resources.
What we DO need are improved patrols, more men, more electronics. I find the wall, while important, is no more than some politician to build is conservative bona fides and what has it gotten us? Nothing.Absolutely nothing. And it is a project that would take years if not decades.
I am not against a fence per se, but it is not anything close to an answer and there are better ways .... MUCH better ways, to solve this monumental problem.
Don’t forget Bobby Jindahl. He talked about it too!
I note there is going to be a four and one-half mile long, eight foot high chain-link fence erected in Philadelphia to help in crowd control for the Pope’s upcoming visit in September - haven’t heard a word of “it can’t be done” about it yet.....
1) Why George W. Bush didn't build the wall?
2) Why so-called conservatives continued, and continue, to support (deify?) him?
You’re going about this all wrong.
All we need to do is put up a six foot Chain Link Fence and hang The Battle Flag of the Northern Virginia Democrat Confederates on it facing Mexico.
I’m sure with the Fear and Loathing the Flag has received, the Mexicans will be too afraid to touch it on the way in.
