Then you come to 2016 and President Trump having to deal with the Senate. Zero cooperation with the current Republican folks.

I think Trump is smart enough to know they'd become much more cooperative if denied their standard media camouflage.

I think the Linda Graham thing was just a taste of President Trump.

Perhaps him winning will send a clear message to the congenial folks in the Senate that the electorate is pi$$ed off and change needs to happen. I don’t buy into this crossing the aisle and getting things done stuff either...that doesn’t usually work out well for conservatives. I don’t mind an opposition party that really is an opposition party that says “no” to spending more money on social programs and programs government has no business being in (Obamacare). However, border security IS one of the programs the government is supposed to be in and should spend money on. Perhaps a Trump win would solidify the days of going along to get along and pad their net worth is over and it’s time to actually work for the voters that voted them into office. If not, a Trump victory would set the stage for continuing the purge of Repubs that don’t do what they’re sent there to do.

He’s doing just fine with our base but he needs to find a way to break through to those low-info squishes who always seem to decide elections. Right now the MSM obviously has their ear.

Bernie Sanders? I mean.....really??

Trump can win, especially if he comes out head and shoulders above the rest and the RNC still nominates someone else. He wants to run as a Republican, but has not ruled out 3rd party. I don’t think he can get the nomination, the establishment will do anything they can, even cheat him out of it.

I’ve always thought he and Cruz should both disown the Republican party entirely and run Independent or better yet form another party. I’d love to see them run as American party...

Then put Trey Gowdy on as AG, (Cruz as VP, setting him up for prez next time). Can’t stand Palin, I cringe every time I see her. Yeah she has some good viewpoints but has a voice that grates on my nerves and says some idiotic things. Sounds like she hasn’t thought it through at all, just babbling...rambling...

I notice nobody has come up with any former employees or even business associates he’s left behind that have anything negative to say about Trump. Why? From what little I’ve heard, very few exist, the one time it was mentioned in an article it said most employees have a very positive opinion of him.

I think he can win, and I don’t agree with most of the stuffed suits who keep insisting a 3rd party run will hand it to Hillary in a silver platter. Hillary doesn’t stand a chance against Trump, I don’t think any other Democrat does either. I haven’t seen evidence yet, but I think he’s pulling a hell of a lot more Democrats and Independents than the blowhards want to admit.

If he’s dumped by the Republicans, I think it will do the same thing all their attacks have done so far...make him stronger. I’ve also been wishing Cruz would run 3rd party since 2013 when the govt was shut down. Trump hadn’t even mentioned it yet...that’s my one reservation about Cruz, good as he is, he’s still a Republican...and a politician.

Bottom line, yeah I think Trump can win, will do what he says, he always has, and probably has an even better chance with a 3rd party run, so many people don’t trust either Democrats or Republicans.

Trump/Cruz, Gowdy for AG.

Fiorina was an H-1B whore at HP.

VP Fiorina

Don’t know much about her but from what I have heard and read, may not be a bad choice. I need to research more.

I am impressed with Fiorina but I fear she can’t win.

After watching the way they destroyed Mitt Romney, as a former CEO she’d be a sitting duck for Democrat ads featuring sob stories from everyone HP laid-off during her tenure.

“I will admit...it would be curious to watch the lobbyists having to deal with a guy who knows precisely how to deal out an executive order and won’t hesitate.”

See, that right there scares me. We’ve had nearly 8 YEARS of 0bastard legislating via Executive Order!

Just because we hate it when THEY do it, does not make it right if WE do it.

We need a President who is a LEADER and takes us back to our Constitutional roots.

Probably NOT going to happen again in my lifetime, but a girl can dream!

I myself, am 100% completely for Sarah Palin as the Vice Presidental candidate, this time to win.

Have been since before McCain ever picked her for his running mate, way back in 2008.

I suggest Trump pick Palin.

I like Sarah a lot and the mere fact she makes libs heads explode is fun to watch. But I think her time for that has come and gone and would only return us to where we don’t want to go. We have an opportunity to turn the page away from establishment candidates with Trump, and Sarah, for better or worse, by the media and her own doing, has been marginalized and would be a huge distraction. Perhaps a prominent cabinet position? Interior?

Trump v Sanders would be a bellwether election for this country. A candidate who represents what you can do for yourself and others if the government gets out of the way, versus a candidate that represents what you can get for yourself and others if the government that grows more intrusive and continues to redistribute wealth

Actually, when John Kasich declared, he stated his number one priority was jobs.

He’s a RINO imo, but Trump is not the only one anymore.

Trump is leading everyone in the polls as a Republican. It would be foolish of him to change anything. If he does not flub the debates which there is no reason to believe he will he has every chance to win the nomination.
