you seem moderately well connected on Twitter, who is Biased Girl and what is the big to-do about her? I can’t tell who is whom in these disputes and who is on what side. I saw lots of people mentioning being blocked by her. I have no idea who she is, and what the issue is that’s causing consternation.
She co-hosts a podcast with NR’s Jim Geraghty. I had been following her and listening to the podcast.
She began talking about some sort of conspiracy whereby all the Trump support on Twitter, etc. is fake, paid sock puppet shill accounts. She started blocking people she thought were Trump shills.
The entire timeline for her time from Friday night through Saturday is largely incoherent.
Then she began to block people that were not pro-Trump, people that she knew existed in real life. It ended with here blocking basically anyone who came into her path. Even friends that she has met in real life, or people who just tweeted “are you ok?” and other expressions of concern.
Her podcast partner has not commented. He has told people that she is OK, that her account is not hacked.
She had basically at this point blocked all of the supporters of her podcast. She has not put forth any sort of coherent explanation of the conspiracy she alleges or how she has chosen how to block everyone.
Either this is a mental breakdown or some sort of stupid PR move. Either way, she has burned all her bridges.
I was blocked Friday night. She was accusing another person of being fake, and told people to look at her avatar photo for the proof.
No one knew what we were supposed to be seeing in the photo. I asked what it was and got blocked for it.
Needless to say, neither I nor any of the other former followers are going to be downloading her podcast anymore. It’s just odd that this is happening with no explanation and no attempt at damage control from her partners.
wow. I have never heard of her, don’t do podcasts, but that sounds dang odd. Usually get an AM JOLT, is he on vaca? seems maybe he would address it in there? People can have breakdowns, it’s always worse if it’s public.
she’s obviously never been to FR or she’d see there are plenty of authentic nuts who support him. xshub had mentioned that Breitbart has been in the tank for him too. I don’t mess with breitbart, there are too many pop ups etc. on the site for my taste, but xshub likes it. We listened to Breitbart program on Sirius on the way back from Hershey over the weekend, and the proTrump bias was clear. Then the stories broke, whether real or not, that Trump was paying for favorable coverage. Heard Ann Coulter last night too on Oreilly with BOlling on my way back from Zumba. I find her championing of Trump odd beyond belief. Laura on Bret’s panel was good; she did a good job of explaining his appeal, without supporting his candidacy personally.
Geraghty is posting Morning Jolts like nothing is wrong. He even had called yesterday’s “the weekend everyone went crazy” without any mention of his partner’s behavior.

There are real nuts mixed in with fake accounts. I don’t think it’s unique to Trump to have people trying to manipulate internet opinion. This is just an extreme example.

that’s odd bc I swear I haven’t gotten the Jolts lately, will have to check. I don’t read them very often bc of lack of time, but usually glance through. Jonah I tend to read more routinely. He’s certainly taken his lumps from the Trumpkins. xsteen is understandably behind the curve on politics, taking care of a newborn at home on maternity leave AND not having cable [they have been having Cox out at least once or twice a week trying to correct whatever the situation is. xs SIL had a proper “daddyfit” with them on the phone last week she said. xsgirls coined the term “daddyfit” to describe what their dad does in a situation like that]. But she saw on Twitter the racy pix of Megan from GQ and lost all respect for her.

Yes, he has mentioned the podcast before in the Jolt. Check #TJAMS on Twitter for the show’s official hashtag. Lots of comments there on the situation.

I had to use my “daddyfit” on Verizon last week. Our DSL wasn’t working and it was all their fault.
Jolts get filtered by my company’s spam filter quite often. Don’t know what words trigger it.
I do believe there are new political posters who followed Trump from his show that are now active. I have friends who have taken an intense liking to Trump. Those two black ladies I posted are another example. They are coming out of the woodwork for Trump, but many are the real deal. I really hadn’t heard of fake accounts and conspiracy theories. I noticed that most online polls one could vote multiple times, so I ignored them. I am sure Trumnpeters were all over those polls...all up in arms after the debate.
I am just CRUZing with Cruz. Not even a tad bit about Trump for president, I just liked his rhetoric....when he sticks to issues. Sounds like the stress of success was too much for him.
