Irony: they’re almost on top of the future site of Starfleet HQ. I guess the Empire won this round. :-)

It is nice that Hillary released her troops long enough to perform this act of charity, before they go back to throwing BlackLivesMatters protesters up on Bernie's stage...
(The 501st (Vader's Own) is a great charity organization filled with very dedicated reenactors who selflessly donate their time and efforts for causes, and I've had the great privilege of meeting quite a few of them. Yes, some are Hillary supporters, but many, for some odd reason, find that their viewpoints change as they reenact serving an evil emperor.)

I thought from the headline that this was s group of Neo-NAZI types. Given the link between the upper levels of the SS and homosexuality this was not surprising to me.

They must be sweating buckets in those things! Now they did play the imperial march theme during that crossing, didn`t they? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-bzWSJG93P8

More like sweating IN buckets, since that's what they call their head gear, and yes, they are extremely hot. Most times, they will rotate who is on 'stage' in a public setting so that they can cool off with their buckets off before swapping out again. During Star Wars Half Marathon, most of them stayed out in the warm sun for hours as people ran by (and took pictures with them) - one noted that he sweated out 6 pounds of water during that event.

It was almost 100 degrees in the Bay Area today. Those guys must have been roasting in those costumes!
Like tortoises, many locals stay indoors, sort of hide out during the middle of the day, when the sun is at it’s most ‘angry’. We come back out after 5pm or 6pm, when the San Francisco breeze system takes over once again.

I hate Illinois Marin Stormtroopers.

That’s how you bring attention to a cause. You don’t handcuff a bunch of stormtroopers to barrels filled with concrete.

Now they did play that theme, YOU CAN`T have storm troopers marching without The Imperial March theme (Vader`s theme). I still think it`s one of the most powerful and ominous marches I`ve heard. Gave me goosebumps when I first heard it as a kid in the theater.

Miss the evening cooling there when the fog and the breeze come in.
