Worst graduate class I ever had was a statistics from a PhD Prof. from Egypt (Minnesota State U). His accent was nearly impossible to understand. He'd turn his back to us while he wrote formulas on one side of the board, blocking it, then move to the other side of the board doing the same thing.

You'd have to write like crazy to keep up before he finished the other side of the board and started erasing the first.

It did little good to try to talk to him as he barely understood you and even less good to try to talk to the administration because he was "one of the most brilliant people in the field."

The only reason I managed to get a "C" in the class (which put you on probation in graduate school) was because I took extensive notes and read the text carefully in conjunction with them after the class. Plus I had a great undergraduate prof. who had worked with the Richard Wirthlan Polling Firm (Reagan's pollster). Almost everyone in that class got Cs using similar methods.

I also doubt that illegal aliens are getting the nursing jobs here in NH. I actually find this hard to believe, although I do not spend a lot of time in hospitals.

Based on my random observations, I would state that immigrants fill almost all the large landscaping firms employee roles. I am not talking about the young guy with a pick up truck pulling a single trailer. I mean the large companies that have the commercial real estate contracts.

There is a pathway to LEGAL work in nursing in the USA.

You have to first pass the U.S. Nursing Licensure for Foreign-Educated Nurses or NCSBN.

Then, you’ll need an accredited hospital or clinic to sponsor you.
