Announce Cruz....

I trust Trump to make the best decision as far as reaching his goals is concerned. I'm wondering if Cruz won't be needed in the US Senate, working with Senator Sessions and just a small handful of others we can depend on, to clean up that sewer.

If they (Mexicans) won't be sending money back home we can't very well tax it

We won't have to, if they're gone. More US citizens will be working, and they'll be paying taxes instead of being subsidized for not working. Besides that, when those illegals who cost so much in federal, state, and locally funded freebies are gone, some of that money can be used to build our Great Wall.

I like our candidates, actually there is something good about each of them. I would like to see them coalesce around someone soon.

Right. But 9422 was suggesting taxing the illegals’ money that was sent home in order for Mexico to pay for the wall. No doubt we’ll save a fortune, but it might have to come out of foreign aid or something once they’ve left.

(The wall will be a net gain, no matter how it’s financed. If the politicos in Washington had done this in the 80s- when they were supposed to, how many billions would we be to the good? And how many Americans would still be alive today?)

:-) Kind of to the first part. I certainly agree on the second. I’m worried we may see a repeat of 2008 & 2012, but it doesn’t seem that extreme at this point.

It's a fine point, for sure, because the bottom line is the US saves more money than it spends on that wall. Another way Mexico pays for that wall will be having to provide the government assistance for all of those people who will go back to the south side of it.

If it were anyone but Trump saying he's gonna' build a wall that will compare favorbably with the Great Wall of China, and it's going to be a beautiful wonderful wall and it's going to have Trump's name on it, we'd think that person was crazy or speaking in metaphors.

With Trump, we believe. How cool is that? School children will be talking about wanting to see the great big wonderful beautiful wall that President Trump built as a vacation stop!

Very, very, very cool. If someone had told me 6 months ago that there was even a snowball’s chance for our country, I would have gone off & cried.

Building an impenetrable barrier where the terrain itself is a barrier sends an awesome message.

Building an impenetrable barrier, even where it's not especially needed, sends an awesome message as well.

Building an impenetrable barrier where it is needed, keeps invaders out and sends an awesome message at the same time.

Combining an daunting physical barrier with high tech countermeasures sends a Trumptastically, awesomely yuge message.
