QUOTE: "So there’s no actual evidence that God sat down at his desk and wrote the Bible, or recorded it in any way such as we do today like putting it in a memory chip, hard disk, or printing a hard copy?"

Perhaps you think this is cute? No one asserted he wrote it at a desk, and those technologies did not exist 65 years ago, much less 3500, but I trust you know that. You apparently reject the claims of the Bible, which is your prerogative. However, less you founder from lack of knowledge, the Bible does plainly state that:

2 Timothy 3:15 and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,
17 so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

1 Peter 1:21 For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

Quote: "Doesn’t the evidence show that it is actually a written recollection (by humans) of oral tradition?"

No. Matthew, Mark, John, Peter and Paul wrote first hand accounts. Luke wrote a history based on evidence he gathered, as a legal document for a court defense.

Regarding what Moses recorded we are not sure of his source documents for the material prior to his existence, but it he either he took the direction from God or used first hand recorded accounts from Adam, Noah, Abraham, etc. After all, he did spend a great deal of time with God alone, face to face.

“5 seconds on Google with the phrase I gave you will give more citations than you can consume.”

I asked you for a citation for your claim that the Cosmological principles has been “modified/replaced”. Tossing out the name of an unrelated quantum physics concept is not a citation.

“If you’re more interested in a “gotcha”...”

I’m interested in the citation, if you can provide it. If you can’t, then just admit it.

Then you are certainly smarter than Paul, as you understood relativity at 8 years old! However, I would point you to Paul's writings (he was a tent-maker, not a goat herder, not sure where you would rank that in intelligence):

1 Timothy 6:20 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called: 21 Which some professing have erred concerning the faith.

Romans 1:18 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness,
19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them.
20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.
21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.
22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools.

No. I want to believe.

No one asserted he wrote it at a desk, and those technologies did not exist 65 years ago, much less 3500, but I trust you know that

But any technology would have been available to God at any time. I find it absurd that God would only directly communicate to people thousands of years ago, but not today.

There is no a longer a need to, as the scripture says:

Hebrews 1:1 In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways,
2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe.

The purpose for the scriptures was so that we may be wise unto salvation, which is only through Jesus Christ. However, if a person can be deceived into doubting any one thing in the Bible as authoritative (e.g. creation week), then that person is liable to be deceived as to the identity, mission and Deity of Jesus Christ, who created the universe! There is no more need for new scripture today, for Jesus, whom the prophets foretold and who was foreshadowed in the Law, is the Reality!

John 20:30 Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book.
31 But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.

QUOTE: "But any technology would have been available to God at any time."

We have been given ultimate evidence, in these last days, to the wisdom and knowledge of God: DNA. It self replicate, corrects, and wraps itself into a tiny package, and is in everyone of our cells! It is the most complex data recording mechanism known to man, so incredibly complex and dense that all of the worlds data could fit in a teaspoon of it! (source: here)

Yet, so called scientists dismiss this complexity with explanations of evolution and long periods of time.

Ephesians 4:18 They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts.

As far as starlight, distances and time, the scripture offers some insight: God stretched out the heavens! This could account for both the enormous distances we observe and the Doppler light shift.

See: Psalm 104:2, Isaiah 40:22 & 44:24, Zechariah 12:1, Job 9:8 & 26:7, and Jeremiah 10:12.

Is your motivation mutual edification, wisdom, and seeking truth?
or are you stroking your own ego, declaring your own pride by demeaning others with a differing - and not wrong - view?

God stretched out the heavens!

Sounds like spacetime expansion to me.

Indeed, explains the enormous distances and redshift. ...and indicates how long it took to happen, considering we're talking up to billions of light-years.

The more I look at Genesis et al, the more it correlates with our understanding & deductions of what we see.

QUOTE: "Is your motivation mutual edification, wisdom, and seeking truth?"

Yes. I have come to the point in my scientific explorations that the Scripture is true, and any theory developed that directly contradicts the plain reading of scripture cannot be.

QUOTE: ...declaring your own pride by demeaning others...

If you feel demeaned, my apologies, but your taking offense is no reason to shrink from posting scripture.

However, in the Pot-Kettle department, you offered some interesting (demeaning?) descriptions of Moses with

Quote: "...I assert a common schoolchild may know more about astronomy than Moses..." post 57
and
"...nearly prehistoric goat-herder who didn’t grok(sic) quantum cosmology, doesn’t mean God did things in a way that puny ignoramuses conclude covers a hundred back-to-back lifespans..." post 15
and
"...a couple pages of goatherder-understandable text plus a genealogy does not prove the age of the Universe..." post 57

We will all stand before Jesus Christ, and be held accountable for every word we speak. I would rather err on the side of a literal interpretation of what He went to the trouble of having written down for my benefit, than trying to explain why I believed theories that violated his simple text.

For example, consider:

Exodus 20:11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day:

You develop theories that directly contradict plain scripture, I assert the plain reading is true. I am quite comfortable in my position, as I trust you are.

Where’s the plain scripture declaring a 10,000 year old Earth?

QUOTE: Where’s the plain scripture declaring a 10,000 year old Earth?

There isn't any, because it assert a ~6000 year old earth!

Premises:
1. A day is 24 hours in earth time
a year is one orbit of the earth about the sun,
3.The genealogies from Adam to Abraham are correct, as confirmed in Matthew 1 and Luke 2.

If you study Scripture, especially the Geneologies of Genesis 5 & 11, you arrive at God's covenant with Abram 2083 years after Adam's making.
Add 430 years in Egypt (Ex 12:41, Gal 3:16-17), 480 years to Solomon's 4th year of his reign(1 Kings 6:1), and you get to 2083+910 = 2993 After Adam's making.
Non-biblical archeology places Solomon's birth ~1000 BC, thus 2993+1000 = ~3993 years after creation = 1 AD.
Add 2015 years and the Earth is around
6000 years old (6008?)

Many assert that there are missing generations in Genesis, and thus they arrive at 10,000 years old. But like I mentioned, I take it literally.

Literally? interesting, as so much is metaphors/parables. What of the “thousand years as one day” etc? Why wouldn’t that apply precisely to the creation period?

Literally. The Thousand years as one day simply means that what we consider a long period of time is nothing to God.

But for our benefit, the phrase is recorded in Genesis, "...evening and morning were the 1st day...", and repeated 5 times, for each of the creation days. Furthermore, the Israelites were to work 6 days, and keep the Sabbath holy. That would make no sense whatsoever if they were to work for 6,000 years.

What's interesting, though, is the CONTEXT of where the 1000 years/a day is mentioned. Please read it for yourself, and determine if it describe that state of science today...

2 Peter 3:3 Above all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires.
4 They will say, “Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our ancestors died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.”
5 But they deliberately forget that long ago by God’s word the heavens came into being and the earth was formed out of water and by water.
6 By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed.
7 By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.
8 But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.
9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare.

To recap, in the last days:
1. Scoffers will come
2. They will assert uniformitarianism
3. Thy will deliberately forget the creation account, that is in diametric opposition to evolution abd the Big Bang
4. They will deny the flood ever occurred
5. They fail to see that the world is preserved for judgement by fire
6. God wants none to perish, that's why the apparent slowness
7. That day will come like a thief, suddenly, unexpectedly.

Just to clarify, literally, unless the context suggests a device such as a metaphor, simile, analogy, etc. It is mostly literal.
