My belief is that we are so divided that it wouldn’t matter what a candidate said, we would support “our side”. I think trump is scary weird, but I’d vote for him over anything from the dem side.

yes, xshub is particularly annoyed by the leftist pope and feels lucky to be out of town for biz for the visit and will be spared hearing about it. it’s not unlike Obama’s inauguration [we went to the Caymans that weekend, expressly to avoid being here for it]. I was fortunate enough to personally meet Pope Benedict, I have no desire to do anything to encounter Pope Frank in any capacity. I heard Obama has referred to Frank as a transformational leader much like himself.

The “white guilt” is entirely accurate. It’s more accurately the guilt felt by people who know that they aren’t achievers, but are where they are mostly because of luck or who they are. It’s why actors are so bad about this kind of stuff.
They know they aren’t doing anything to earn $1 million for a sitcom episode. So they feel guilty.
On a smaller scale, “connected” white liberals know they are only making decent money cause they were lucky enough to go to the right schools and meet the right people. They feel guilty that they haven’t really worked or earned what they have.
Hence the entire complex about trying to use the gov’t to “improve” the situation of others. And the complete discounting of how natural talent and effort play a huge part in the success of most people.
I only hope it’s safe to wake up then!

Things seem so upside down lately - with the whole notion that we can’t use pronouns to denote sex or can’t put Mother and Father on a birth certificate, I did find humor in something I saw this morning which questioned how this new terminology will affect affirmative action? lol
I lived for years under the libtard Pataki Regime in NY. I left still praying for a real Republican Gov. instead of RINO Rockefeller and Pataki.

Kanye West. He announced last night at MTV VMA awards that he was going to run in 2020.
I’m not voting for Trump. He’s a pig in a poke. He’s not a conservative. He’s not even a Republican.
It won’t matter because he won’t get the nomination.
But, if he did, it wouldn’t mater because either:
1. PA voters would vote for Hilary, cause they’re FDR Democrats or
2. Trump-mentum will be so great that he will win PA without my help cause PA would be a natural for his “angry white guy” routine.
