If no classifieds on her server, where did she receive classified docs?

That was one of my first questions. She claims she only used her personal server, yet at the same time claims she didn't send/receive classified documents. So, the obvious question jumps out at normal people (which apparently wouldn't actually include any of the republican committees "investigating" this.

One good thing to hopefully come out of this IMO, is that we can put an end to this really stupid idea of having public officials using private emails. Hillary is not the first to do so, though she seems to have taken extra special care to make sure that her communications were outside of normal government reach from a 'transparency' perspective than most.

I have never worked at any large organization that did not require the use of the organization email for any type of official correspondence. That anyone in government or press thinks otherwise just points to how removed from the reality the rest of us have to live in. I have a personal email address that I've maintained for over 20 years now. I can count on one hand the number of times I've had to conduct business using this private account, most of which were the result of issues accessing corporate servers. I also made sure to copy my business address with any correspondence I had to do outside of normal corporate channels.

I'm reasonably sure that it is extremely uncommon for folk to use personal email for business use. For one thing, doing so makes breaking the relationship with the business much more difficult, because your personal account will be in folks address books. You'd be likely to still occasionally get email months if not years after leaving their employ. At least I know this is true in my case.

I think we really should be hammering this home. The positions these people are in are not personal fiefdoms. If you're the SoS, you bloody well should use your State Department email address for official business. The same absolutely goes for any other government branch. I'd be willing to bet that you'll find this kind of crap in government more than anywhere else, and the practice needs to absolutely stop. If people are afraid of having their actions scrutinized by investigators or regulators, perhaps they should not be working where they are.

Any time you find someone referring to all this as a "witch hunt", your first question to them should be, "so, do you use your personal email for business purposes?"

“You have to remember this is Clinton speak. Her actual words are “I did not send or receive emails marked classified”. Meaning someone had removed the classified markings before she got them. I’ve heard this mentioned before. Whoever did that (Huma?) is the one you want to get under oath and make them squeal like a pig”

Other people had to have been copied on these emails, surely the FBI is checking those emails to determine if they had been marked secret. The State Dept can’t be trusted. My guess is this things runs so deep......it will be deemed to big to prosecute. Institutional incompetence, wholesale retraining is the answer. No one goes to jail, business as usual, Cancklebeast is vindicated.
