Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka, the popular WWE star, was arrested and charged with third-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter in the 1983 death of his girlfriend, according to The Morning Call.
Nancy Argentino died on May 10, 1983, and Snuka was the only person of interest at the time, yet he was never charged.
The case was reopened last year after a new autopsy report emerged, The Morning Call reported last year, and it was labeled a homicide. According to records, the 72-year-old Snuka – who is suffering from stomach cancer — returned to his Pennsylvania motel room after a wrestling show on the night in question to find the 23-year-old Argentino gasping for air and oozing fluid from her mouth and noise.
She died the following day of her brain injuries. She also had suffered cuts and bruises to her head, ear, chin, arms, hands, back, buttocks, legs and feet. The autopsy showed she had been hit with a stationary object.
Initially, Snuka told five people he pushed Argentino that day. He said she fell and hit her head, according to police interviews. But later, Snuka said he was misunderstood and adjusted his account to say Argentino slipped and hit her head. Her family won a $500,000 wrongful death case against Snuka in 1985, but he claimed he was broke.

You aren’t kidding. It also makes it seem like Snuka is 106 years old.

From what I read, the ORIGINAL autopsy report, which the locals refuse to release, was ferreted out from court records by some organization which then wrote an article on it as well as Snuka's many contradictory stories immediately after reporting finding her. My guess is that this statement really means the case was reopened last year after the original autopsy report became public and they got bad press for flubbing it badly back then.
