French Foreign Minister: ‘We Have 500 Days to Avoid Climate Chaos’

(CNSNews.com) – The world has “500 days to avoid climate chaos,” French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius said alongside Secretary of State John Kerry at the State Department on Tuesday.
“We have 500 days to avoid climate chaos,” Fabius said. “And I know that President Obama and John Kerry himself are committed on this subject and I’m sure that with them, with a lot of other friends, we shall be able to reach success in this very important matter.”

What is broken and what is the plan to fix it? How much will it cost? What is the mitigation plan in case it fails? Is there a backout plan? Is it only France that will suffer from this or the entire world? Who exactly gets the money that will fix this? Are they campaign donors? For whom?
That’s a good start.
In 500 days we can all point and laugh.

And I believe this story was published on CNS a day or two later. Other folks say the 500th day is September 23, 2015.
But, as others have said on this thread, he was just Chicken Little-ing. (How would the French Foreign Minister and John Kairy possibly know anything we don’t...)
